Definitions of Ascension
Pat has asked me to add some definitions of Ascension to this article. They are:
“Ascension is simply upliftment into the higher vibrations of the Universe. … However, as simple as it sounds it has far reaching effects, and nothing will be quite the same again. It is a wonderful event that allows you to move into the beauty and peace of the higher dimensions. It comes as your right, and is an opportunity that will not come around again for thousands of years.” (SaLuSa, Oct. 19, 2009.)
“Most succinctly stated, personal ascension is the merging of your consciousness with your soul. Recognizable aspects are the raising of consciousness; strengthening discernment and trusting intuition; ever-increasing awareness of the higher self, the god/goddess self, and true spirituality; the sensation of peacefulness that comes with living in alignment with your soul contract—you feel this as if you are ‘going with the flow’ instead of ‘bucking the current.’” (Matthew’s Message, Feb. 7, 2009.)
Ascension will occur, AA Michael says, “when the soul transforms its physical body into light and steps into the next level of consciousness; it is the aim of every soul on the earth.” (Archangel Michael, “Gifts to Humanity – Part 1,” July 6, 2009, https://www.wisdomofthelight.com/Archangel_Michael.html )
SaLuSa says some interesting things in the second half of his message today and I’d like to comment on them.
He tells us that the real business the galactics are here for “is to lead you firmly onto the Ascension path.”
“Some of you are already progressing along it, and you are the Wayshowers that have come to Earth for that purpose.”
I would have expected him to reserve the term “Wayshowers” for such lights as Lisa Renee, Lauren Gorgo, David Wilcock and similar staunch lightbearers who have been laboring for years in leadership roles. Indeed I have usually considered the term that way in the past. But he applies it instead to us who are aware of events and are progressing on our Ascension paths.
He reminds us that it is not essential that we say much: “Often you do not have to say much at all, as your actions really do speak louder.” His next comment is revealing:
“Humans tend to have a herd mentality and follow the leader. That is fine providing the leader sets a good example, and it is a fact that like attracts like. It is more often than not a subconscious decision and given little or no thought.”
I notice in myself this very tendency to want to find a good leader and then follow him or her. I had not thought of it as a human 
tendency and only a galactic would be able to point that out. He says this mentality gives little or no thought to the matter. It isn’t something we mull over a great deal and then choose: it’s a subconscious decision. His description matches my own process.
Skipping ahead, he says that “your special children such as the Indigos … will go on to develop even more powers. Young people are often very talented and carry wisdom far beyond their age, and they will have a place in the future where they can use it.” We know that the young children have a leadership role to play and are here for that purpose.
He continues:
“By now most of you should have made the decision as to whether you have the desire to ascend. Your Higher Self will prompt it if it is part of your life plan, as it is an opportunity that will not repeat itself for a very long time.”
He reminds us that most people hearing his message will have already made the decision to ascend, it having been part of our life plan. So in terms of considering who will and won’t ascend, we have one group that has already made the decision before incarnating and whose Higher Self will be now be prompting them. That should reassure people who are reading this, some of whom wonder how they could already have made the decision when they are only now waking up to what is occurring on the planet. The fact of waking up, he says, is initiated by our Higher Self, not by our conscious minds. He reminds us that this opportunity will not come again for “a very long time.”
“If it was indeed decided before you incarnated, then you are to some extent relying on your Higher Self for help. It is that voice that comes from within, and often deters you from making mistakes that could hold you back. It is advice that should be well heeded, but sometimes your ego overrides it because it is responding to your present mindset.”
Those who made the decision to ascend before incarnating will find themselves in the position of relying on their Higher Self for direction. He then describes how the Higher Self will communicate to us. It is a “voice” that arises from within and operates to put a brake on us if we are headed towards making a mistake with consequences.
When we really start to factor in this influence, we see some interesting things about free choice. We have free will, definitely, but we also have the guidance of the voice from within, which in the final analysis is God’s voice. We can and do overrule this voice with our ego, responding to our conditioned mind. So the voice knows the way of wisdom but the ego is allowed to overrule it.
It follows then that this ego is the one who is being schooled and trained, does it not? What he refers to as the “ego” is the persona, the personality, what makes us an individual. So it is not the soul or the Higher Self that is being schooled but the persona or ego. It is not a question of awakening the soul or Higher Self but of overcoming the mistaken tendencies of the ego, serving the condition mind.
He tells us to:
“Think upon these things as they are important when you are attempting to throw off your earthly mantle, and move more completely into the Light.”
He recommends that we consider these matters carefully because they are important when we are attempting to overcome the impact of this wet blanket of a body on us, that muffles wisdom and stifles love with its heavy and non-conducting material characteristics. Our bodies, once they change from carbon-based to crystalline-based, may not be as heavy as this “earthly mantle” we now wear and undoubtedly will not present the same resistance to higher feelings and thoughts.
“You have an expression about ‘Walking your Talk’ and that is essential if you are to transform yourself into a Light Being.”
He reminds us that wisdom without application is cheap. The real challenge is in walking the talk. And, like Matthew who reminded us that leading a godly life was what we needed to do to ascend, SaLuSa tells us that walking the talk is essential if we are to transform ourselves into Light Beings. By transforming ourselves into Light beings he has told us on other occasions that he means raising our vibrations so that we can hold and ground the Light being beamed to Earth at this time.
“You should know by now where you are going, and how to achieve it. So apply yourself very positively and you will have all of the help you need.”
Having studied the words of the spirit and galactic teachers who have been communicating to us for years, and having learned all other lessons from life that we have, we Wayshowers should be now, he says, know where we are headed and even how to achieve it. Where we do not we will be given the help we need. He tells us to apply ourselves, to work at telling the truth, suspending judgment, loving everyone unconditionally, and other Ascension skills.
“No one really wants to see a soul miss out on Ascension, and every effort will be made to ensure each one is aware of it. When we can reach millions of you at a time, our task will become easy and we are awaiting our opportunity to do so. Certainly everything is coming to a head, and we can envisage a very busy period coming up.”
Even though the Wayshowers will have chosen Ascension before incarnating, he reminds us that once First Contact happens, the galactic, spirit teachers, and returned Masters will ensure that everyone on Earth is aware of the opportunity. Then will come our real time to contribute either through words or by our actions, by “walking our talk.” He says that things are coming to a head and we are entering a very busy period. We could spend time mulling over what he means by that, not like I know exactly what’s being conveyed because I don’t, or we can do as he suggests and begin honing our skills as Wayshowers, walking the walk in addition to talking the talk and in preparation for our hour of service.
