Spiritualism is experiencing a revival … no no no.
New life is being breathed into the afterlife … no no no.
“Dead” people are enjoying a rebirth … NO NO no.
Well, however you see it, communication with the so-called “dead” is getting a boost from a group in Scole, England, who are experimenting with a combination of physical mediumship and technology in some of the same ways that mediums used to do in the Nineteenth Century.
I would expect that this is all in keeping with the heightened frequencies of vibrations we’re experiencing at the present time, which some channels have said will eventually bring down the barriers between us and astral dwellers.
Fred Burks sends along this video which unfortunately I can’t locate to the site:

a sixteen-minute excerpt from a new film on Afterlife Investigations.
Youtube does have this two-minuted teaser from the longer program.
I actually recall reading a series called From Heaven to Earth, from the 1970s, where it was said that technological devices would be invented that allowed communication with our loved ones in the not-so-beyond beyond. I would expect that new technology arising in the next two years will help us bridge the gap.
It’s interesting that Spiritualism started out in the Nineteenth Century enthralled with “physical” mediumship – the production of apports and strange sounds, the levitation of tables, the appearance of spirits or spirit parts, etc.
And then physical mediumship tapered off as people desired more information from their loved ones and spirit counsel. But evidently it’s back, the Scole Experimental Group having sat for five years with the cameras and tape recorders rolling.
Shortly after he died, William T. Stead, who was an early Twentieth-Century stalwart of Spiritualism and died on the Titanic, was seen at a sceance briefly. Stead was a well-known figure in his day. His face appeared for a short while, was recognized and then vanished again. The people in the circle thought he had titillated them by appearing briefly.
Later, Stead dictated a book called The Blue Island, a discussion of the so-called Borderlands or Etheric Plane that some of us go to for R&R directly after passing. In it he details how he went to a building where people were communicating with mediums. The people who worked in the building showed Stead how to concentrate so as to project a remembered image of himself into a sceance and Stead proceeded to describe the same appearance that the sitters had described, but from his side of the veil.
Apparently, he worked hard at building and projecting the image, held it for a while and then felt completely drained by the experience and had to break off. The image immediately disappeared. So here was the spirit describing what it took for him to manifest in the group – the Wizard of Oz communicating from behind the curtain, so to speak. Now we had both sides of the story from both sides of the veil.
So Spiritualism is back. Physical mediumship has returned from the dead, with all its haunting images and other-worldly phenomena. What we may not realize is that what are “ghosts” to us are just ordinary people on the other side wanting to stop by, be recognized, and … well, chat.
