Have the Powers That Be Just Tried to Dumb Us Down

Did someone slip me a soma?

I’m not sure if I’m imagining this or if something really happened. I need someone to pinch me or tell me I’m dreaming.

I turned on the television this morning and coverage of events in Tahrir Square has dropped away. What happened to Egypt?

Did someone reset the filter? Reboot the machine?

CNN’s anchor (I don’t recognize this guy, not a good sign in itself, but he has a coy smile on his face that I feel even more uneasy about) is saying:

“Now to the 2012 race. the [presidential]. The contenders are already lining up. … Are Democrats happy with President Obama as their candidate for the 2012 election? Do Republicans have a core issue?”

As if to kick off this reboot, Wolf Blitzer said yesterday that we had passed the one-year mark before the first primary in Iowa.

Now teh screen is saying “Race for 2012. The Contenders.” Say it isn’t so!

I have the same queazy feeling that I had after the Haiti Earthquake, when, suddenly, about two weeks after the event, all attention on it just seemed to drop away.

Did someone slip me soma? (1) Did someone tell me to feel the joy-joy? (2) Did a Sandman catch me hankering for Sanctuary? (3)

Have we been distracted by the Powers That Be who control the national media? Did we distract ourselves, having reached the end of our attention span as a society? Or am I blind?

I don’t care about the Iowa primary. I really don’t.

I don’t want to begin the endless consideration of Democrats and Republicans. Not this year.

I don’t care if Mitt Romney takes a Huckabee or Sarah Palin drops off a cliff. I really don’t.

I don’t want to be distracted, dumbed down or led by the nose – no, not this year.

Suzy Ward asked Matthew on Jan. 15, 2011: “With so much money donated for the reconstruction of Haiti after the earthquake a year ago, why is that country still a disaster zone?” and Matthew replied: “Because those funds were stolen by the Illuminati after their technology caused the quake—that stealth is why former US presidents Clinton and Bush rushed to Haiti so quickly after the quake.” (4)

Was attention taken off Haiti to hide the stealing of funds and the lack of any new beginning on reconstruction?

I don't wanna inspire joy-joy feelings.

And has someone mandated the same strategy here – that attention be taken off Tahrir Square, after having had less than two weeks of it, to hide the next steps from the international public?

I don’t think it will work if it is a strategy because the energies on the planet have risen to the extent that the impetus from Egyptians will undoubtedly continue. Moreover we’ve heard sources like SaLuSa and the Arctiurian Group say that the momentum in us will only pick up speed.

On Feb. 5, 2011, the Arcturian Group said that “what appears to be rebellion is the awakening of the masses.”

“We are here in this new day to tell you of the changes about to transpire on your planet. You are in the beginning stages of many changes that will take place throughout the world. It is a time of what appears to be rebellion, but what is actually the awakening of the masses to their entitled freedom.

“Now is the time when unknown to themselves, people are feeling an opening to their higher energies which is causing them to feel the need and desire for the experience of freedom. That is; freedom from the tyranny of those who would dictate, freedom of those who would have you believe that you need them, and freedom from those who would condemn you for not believing as they do.

“It is a powerful energy dear ones, that is now awakening many to the realization that they have been kept in bondage by the few. Be aware of false prophets. I believe that.

Sanctuary is a good thing.

Meanwhile SaLuSa has said:

They are paying great attention to the Middle East? And we are watching Mitt Romney?

So I watch to see what may be different in 2011. Certainly it will be harder, perhaps impossible, to manipulate us this year, whether the controllers are actually trying or whether I’m simply dreaming this whole thing up.

I’m still watching the small screen, some time after having noticed this, and we’re still eyeless in Gaza. I’m fighting a sense of stupor in myself. But I will not go asleep again this time. I promise myself.
