On Ascension – Part 1 – Where Did We Descend From?

We are Old Souls who Descended in Duality for Our Learning

In this series of essays, I’d like to look at our descent into duality and ascent out of it into a higher dimension. Many subjects that have to do with Ascension, expected on or before Dec. 21, 2012, lie outside the perspective of this brief introduction to the subject.

I plan to produce more articles soon that look at topics like the career of dark humans, the mission of the evolved galactic and spirit beings here to mentor and assist us, and the impact on us of the incoming light. Here I intend just to give an overview.

My sources are channelled messages purporting to come from galactic and spirit teachers, ascended masters, angels, and their allies and colleagues. The source I regard as most credible and draw most heavily on is SaLuSa of Sirius, a teacher assigned to Earth by the Galactic Federation to assist us during these times. A second major source is Matthew Ward, an evolved spirit teacher most recently incarnated on Earth, who transitioned to the spirit planes in 1980.

Very few of us, in SaLuSa’s words, know that we “are souls of Light.” (1) Very few understand that “the higher vibrations are … your natural home,” he says. (2) Apparently we decided to leave our home in the higher dimensions and descend into duality for the sake of what it would teach us.

As the ascended master, St. Germain, reveals: “You are truly magnificent Beings of Light, but of necessity have set aside those memories to enable you to concentrate on the challenge of duality.” (3) SaLuSa puts it slightly differently: “You are old souls who are just beginning to remember that you are of the Light.” (4)

We were not obliged to set out on this expedition. “The Creator did not force you into the cycle of duality,” SaLuSa informs us. (5) Instead, we “willingly and eagerly entered” the third dimension. (6)

It offered us an accelerated method of learning: “Although duality may strike you as extreme, it is the quickest way that you can progress” towards the goal of all life, which is the knowledge of our true divine identity. (7) We “knew what a hard test it would be.” (8) But we accepted the challenge.

In the course of our descent into duality, we forgot everything about our earlier existence and identified with the lower vibrations, SaLuSa tells us. “Darkness has surrounded your soul, and suppressed your Light until you have identified with the lower energies.” But all that is now changing. “Now you are in a very different period of time as the Light has returned to Earth.” Here he is referring to the light that exists within us which we are bringing forth. “It will continue to increase exponentially, until it joins up with the incoming energies that are being beamed to you.” (9)

This third dimension of duality was created for us to experience. It was never intended to be our permanent home, SaLuSa says.

“You have been living in a reality that has been created by you, and served its purpose by fulfilling your desires. It was not however meant to be permanent, and would in any event have changed in response to the higher energies.

“Duality such as you have experienced it is not to continue beyond the end of the cycle, and that will also include the astral dimensions.” (10)

Just to ensure our clarity, when SaLuSa says “that will also include the astral dimensions,” he’s referring to the realms we transition to after the death of the physical body. Duality will not continue in this physical dimension and it will not continue in those spiritual dimensions. All will transition to a higher plane of existence.

We Will Ascend Again at the End of This Cycle

We’ve learned much through our stay in the third dimension, he assures us.

“You have learnt much through the cycle of duality, and it has served its purpose in bringing you to understand the opposites and still rise up.

“You are clearly spiritually stronger than when you started your epic journey through the darkness and lack of Light. It is in fact quite remarkable that given the loss of your true identity you have still managed to find your way back.” (11)

Now we prepare to return to the higher vibrations by a process that has come to be known as “Ascension,” which will be the focus of this series of articles.

“Today [we] stand at the door of Ascension. It is truly a wonderful achievement and you are to be applauded for it.” (12)

“Ascension will lift you up to levels that you passed through on your downward path into duality.” (13)

However, SaLuSa tells us, we “never doubted the promise that you would be lifted up when the end time came.” (14) Once we leave duality we will choose what to experience next.

“All souls will make a freewill choice as to where their journeys will take them next. Your subconscious memories of having come from the higher dimensions will draw you back to them. You will instinctively feel that it is where your real home lies.” (15)

From our time in duality, SaLuSa says, “experience is what you will take back to the higher realms, and many [others] will benefit from it.” (16) In the immediate future: “Your expansion of consciousness will have become so great, that you will act as co-creators of new worlds, and join the ranks of those with super consciousness.” (17)

In the far distant future, according to SaLuSa’s colleague, Ag-Agria of Sirius, we will take our places on the same councils which today determine our future: “One day many of you shall be seated on the Councils that preside over the Universe, and in your greatness serve God directly. However, that is a long way off but indicates your unlimited potential to rise to the highest levels.” (18)
