The problem was caused by a conflict between plug-ins and is now fixed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I’m sending this along in the hopes that most readers will receive it in their Daily Digest since the home page of the site now also appears to be down.
Ryan and I are working the problem with the site. As of this moment, we don’t know what is causing it.
We’ve contacted mediatemple.net, the server people, and it doesn’t seem to be a server problem. We’ve contacted WordPress and followed their suggestions, which unfortunately didn’t solve the problem.
It may be a bandwidth problem caused by a rapid increase in readership. I’ll be ordering more bandwidth when I return from a doctor’s appointment in a few hours.
It would be very much appreciated if people could read the “Memo” on the home page rather than write me about the situation. There are hundreds of you and it can be very tiring trying to manage the situation as well as write emails. The latest information appears on the “Memo.”
Not trying to be a dog about it. Just trying to husband my energy. I do appreciate your patience and the inconvenience this causes you.
