Fake to the right, jab to the left, in, out, up, down with The Event.
Will she, won’t she? Was he, wasn’t he? Push, shove, yes, no.
Nothing firm on anything to do with how The Event will represent extraterrestrials. Now the ET leaderr has introduced a character, Thomas, among the ETs who may (or may not be) malevolent. But he is certainly to be feared.
However the identification of one ET who can do bad things provides Laura Innes’ character with the ability to say “It wasn’t us. It was him.” So it leaves the “good ETs” a back door and a further grey zone, distinction, grounds for rapprochement.
To be continued.
