Keep your sense of humor please because everything on the site is about to go a little crazy.
We’re about to go live with parts of the new theme. Some people will be working around the clock to plug in all the right cords and turn all the right switches in all the right order.
And even then, not everything planned for will be up. We have to do a total redesign of the original banner. That won’t be available for a few days. (Any graphics designers who can help?)
Various functionalities may not be available right away. You may get a surprise here or there. Just know that we know about it. No need to write “Contact us.”
What the theme looks like the moment IT Guru John Wood pulls the switch is not what it will look like a week from now in significant ways so perhaps hold off judgment for a bit.
John has worked his fingers to the bones on this to a challenging timeline. The partial look of the site is no reflection on John. This site has become complicated over the years and he’s doing a little delicate surgery on the patient.
Andrea Scully, our new Managing Director, has managed this whole changeover. Alex Clark has managed all technical issues from the blog-side and translated what the heck John was talking about to Andrea and me.
So please give us perhaps the better part of a week to get the windows and doors up. If you don’t like the finished product, I’ll fly away home to Arboria.
