Shara Halverson and her boyfriend Sean lost their house to fire over the Christmas holidays and many readers assisted them. Here is Shara’s report on how she and Sean are doing. (A picture of Shara’s home after the fire can be found at the bottom of the article.)

Dear Soulful Mates,
Thank you from the depths of our being. The generosity and blessings that we have received during this time of tremendous change are revered by Sean and I. …
What you have shared with us reaches beyond monetary abundance. What we are experiencing is the lavish abundance of our existence.
I feel held… unconditionally understood, supported — by true-natured souls in a way that… well… in the previous part of my life was incomprehensible.
Sean and I fell madly in love only months ago.
Our house came to us instantly in our union, and in such an auspicious way, I knew it was surely significant.
We are deeply connected to the land in Alpine, where I got to start a life with my true love.
It is still so surreal, fifteen days after our home burnt to the ground.
Losing a home to a fire is unimaginable… until experienced and then, indescribable.
It has been it’s own grieving process.
On Christmas eve morning, as I woke, I was instantly thrown into panic and breakdown upon hearing about the fire at our house. It was one of the most emotional days of my life thus far. However, I held strong after the initial meltdown.
After which, I can only describe as waves.
Grief~Surrender~Letting Go~Remembrance~Love~Sadness~Surrender~Letting Go~
In this Real time experience, I have become more vulnerable than I have ever allowed myself to be. This shift into vulnerability is very powerful for me, and so healing.
I am feeling, making and experiencing connections more than I ever have.
My family and I have become more connected.
In actuality, all of my connections are now of substance and truth, as if I have acquired a new vision, an ability to choose and allow what energies are entering my field. I am more often and consistently aligned than ever before.
This tragedy is shifting into the single-most significant and transformative period in this (Sean and I’s) lifetime.
The essence of which is You.
If it weren’t for;
- Golden Age of Gaia
- The Hope Chest Fund
- The Local Alpine Community
- Magnificent Hero’s of Friends and Family
Be it in person or through the web.
for the generosity, the outreach, the giving, the sharing, and the offering of assistance from You, this would be something other and far inferior to the Pure Inspiration and Warmth that is our catalyst.
Sean and I are coming excitingly close to the launch of our new vision which was birthed from the ashes of our previous life, a phoenix rising, taking flight into a new, true, beginning.
Sean started the website with no computer to speak of. We barely had a phone that we were sharing.
Our rebuilding is delightfully expedited by the munificence of those who feel us and ultimately inspire us.
We send out immense gratitude.
We echo compassion and love to the kind souls who are giving and giving for the sake of just that.
It is so profound.
Sean and I have cried more tears of joy than tears of sadness together as a result.
That is the reflection, then.
I see, so clearly, the beauty created here.
Thank you. Thank You. Thank You.
