Steve: Golden Gaia discussion group co-owner Andrea Scully looks at the situation of the “broken” among us, from her own experience of having been there and walked away from it. I asked Andrea if I could post her discussion and have melded two emails into one piece.
As lightworkers we may need all the assistance we can get to understand what’s required to have us all recover from whatever impedes us and be ready for Ascension.
I’d like to add comments to what you said in your article “Another Be-You-tiful Day!” (1)
I love this discussion. This is the same effect that I got so strongly when attending the Sedona convention, the perception of intense and great beauty in everyone I saw. This experience lasted for weeks too.
But I also wanted to give a perspective to you personally of what it was that you picked up on that repelled you and disturbed your ability to stay out of judgment and to perceive the beauty there.
It’s a force generated by addicts, a repelling force of great power. It is based firmly in self-judgment and masquerades as not wanting to be judged by you. It is a big f you energetically and at the same time it’s an intense longing for acceptance (love).
The ‘broken’ among us have something so important to teach. It is about the intense pain we have been carrying so long that we are no longer conscious of how much it hurts and how constant it is.
Bless them, my brother, bless them and love them. Exactly as they are!! I hope this will give you a perspective that makes this possible to do so, and this is the reason I shared this with you.
Having been in the place – physically, mentally, emotionally – of the person described on the bus, the ‘addict’, what I can say about it is this. The self-judgment that goes on within is what’s being read on an energetic level and it’s intense.
It hangs in the space of the ‘user’ and it is both what’s most feared and avoided and what’s ever present and stuck at the same time. It’s the driving force behind all addictions, no matter what the substance.
It’s no wonder that anyone sensitive at all is going to mirror it back!
There are different ‘flavors’ of this, depending on the substance, and depending on the degree of both use and of spiritual awareness in the user. But, with or without personal awareness of it, it’s always present, I promise, without exception. The self-judgment is there, and the cycle of trying to escape it by using a substance is locked into place, perpetuating the cycle.
This is the ever present and brutal ‘edge into the abyss’ that anyone using any substance is in danger of falling into, to one degree or another. Once the substance is mistaken for a state of consciousness, it’s mistaken for a ‘remedy’, which is just another way to try to escape what most needs attention and awareness.
All excuses I’ve ever heard trying to debunk this statement are just that, excuses. There’s also a great deal of what I would call ‘user bigotry’ that goes on. Trying to define guiltiness based on type of substance, or method of use of substance, as being better than or worse than.
Nonsense!! Smoke it, snort it, drink it, eat it, or shoot it into your veins with a needle, it’s all the same. The difference is only of degree and not of anything else at all, ever.
As lightworkers, I can share what the real remedy here is. L-O-V-E. Acceptance. It’s from this place and this place only, that we can BE in a place to do anything at all with it. About healing, about understanding, about anything at all.
From right here and right now, from complete acceptance (instead of expect-ance). Let that sink in for a moment.
A person in this state of being (lost in self-judgment of the worst kind) is not very receptive either, but try it and see if some glimmer of light, of love, may brighten their world for even a moment. You might be amazed at how long that glimmer may stay with them, may awaken a hunger for more.
Regardless, we are each playing out our parts in this world. Perhaps these are the bravest of the brave, here now to show us where we are unconscious! Wouldn’t that just be the most amazing realization to have? Would this not change up the ability to judge them?
