Thank you to Allen Atkinson who has volunteered to do this most useful work of reviewing videos before they are posted.
The subject of videos is presenting a wee bit of a problem these days. Videos are coming out more and more often that run in the half-hour to more than an hour range and there is so much to do that there isn’t the time to watch them all. But you still need to see them.
I’ve been making slips more often lately from posting them sight unseen, for which I apologize. I intend to enroll a volunteer whose entire task will be to just review the videos that need posting before they’re put up to lessen the anomalies that can arise.
I actually had experience making a video recently and now see what huge effort goes into making one of even a few minutes’ duration. I now realize why some stars act out on the set, probably from mere frustration at such a laborious process. I’m glad to be working with colleagues who have a sense of humor.
This site is exploring some new directions, which we’ll be discussing soon. And the rumors are flying about the major developments, which everyone has a different date for. Once any of them occurs, it’ll be so busy around here that … well, I don’t know what “that” will mean.
I’d like to take the occasion to thank the editors, reader-relations staff, transcribers, IT personnel, graphics people, and everyone else who collaborates without pay or other reward to put the blogroll up each day.
We’re approaching the third anniversary at the end of September and I find myself flooded with memories of how I began this enterprise as something to do to pass the time when I was so sick that I could not leave the apartment. Hey, why not put out a blog on 2012? Whodda thunk….
And regularly now we get messages that the Pleiadians on all levels follow it, the celestials, and heaven knows who else (pun intended). It’s gratifying but it’s also a huge responsibility.
And we’re aware of how much bigger a responsibility it’ll get as the remaining months roll by. And the same applies to Kauila, Wes, Quinn and all the others, I’m sure. Every man-jack and woman-jane will be racing to keep up and inform the world. It’s just that at some point they’ll switch over from Internet blogs to the Nightly News. “This is Geoffrey West reporting from CBS News.”
All the publishers of Internet blogs, the makers of videos, the artists producing images, the photographers, etc., are reporting what the mainstream media will not presently report and interpreting events they they can only themselves see dimly. They’ve agreed to tackle what surely must be the greatest evolutionary development and movement that has ever arisen on this planet.
It’s wildly exciting but it’s also incredibly humbling and always challenging to the limits of endurance. There’s a joke passing around that we’re all going to meet up on Mount Shasta when it’s over, park our space bikes and together have an Earl Grey – hot. You’re all invited too. Just the length of a summer vacation away now. We’re all buckled up for the final run. Three months and three weeks and counting.
