Maarten Horst asked me today how many hits a day the site received, I suppose for references he may make in the course of his radio program. I had to go have a look and was gratified to see that we’ve broken through a ceiling.
On Aug. 18, we had 30,114 hits a day. The 30,000 figure has been a threshhold that we’ve been watching for a while now, the kind of game that editors play on a quiet day (not like today, which is anything but quiet).
In addition to that figure, the site has 1200 regular subscribers and an undetermined number of subscribers on Facebook, Networked Blogs and Twitter. The site was begun on Oct. 20, 2009.
That shows the rising interest in the events of 2012 (2011 on the West Coast – just kidding! Gotcha there, eh?). That figure will skyrocket after Disclosure. Thanks to everyone who maintains the site, writes, posts, trains, and reposts.
