I’m afraid I’m temporarily in overwhelm from the email situation and, as soon as I finish publishing what’s on my plate, will need to take the day off.
This situation is a dilemma for me. I’m naturally inclined to be transparent, communicate, share, and answer mail and it’s very difficult for me to contemplate not doing so.
But the level of response and the never-ending refilling of an inbasket that I assiduously and regularly empty has reached proportions that surpass my ability to manage on a continuing basis. In future, I’ll read every email, but I’m going to have to force myself not to respond to all but a few.
This is neither a position I would come to naturally nor a prospect that pleases me.
Perhaps it’s best that the crunch came before the main events.
In general, it would be helpful if emails could be kept to article and video suggestions or matters of some urgency. Even my answer to emails with suggestions may regretfully have to come through acknowledgement in the post itself.
Thank you and with apologies,
Steve
