It’s interesting watching people’s ideas converge. Here Deepak Chopra moves from a straightforward spiritual view of things to one that takes in channeled communication, Ascension, etc. Elsewhere people are working to relate channeled communication, Ascension, etc., to straightforward spirituality.
For instance, Deepak’s definition of cosmic or universal citizenship is “Aham Brahmasmi.” Some would interpret that mantram as “I am Brahman” or “I am God.” Deepak has defined it as:
“Aham Brahmasmi (ah-HUM brah-MAHS-mee) is a Sanskrit sutra [line of scripture] whose English translation is ‘the core of my being is the ultimate reality, the root and ground of the universe, the source of all that exists.’ When we repeat this sutra and let it resonate deep within, we expand our awareness of our eternal, unbounded nature.” (https://www.chopra.com/ahamBrahmasmi)
Followers of the events of 2012 would define cosmic or universal citizenship as taking our place as galactic beings among the many civilizations of the universe that exist.
And, slowly, slowly, we are covering the distance between the two views until they converge in the not-too-distant future and have a broadly-shared meaning. So, thanks to Genie, here is Deepak doing his share of the work of convergence:
