This article should be read after “Another Hard Day’s Night.”
There are people at present who know what is transpiring and people who do not. When I say “our” work, I’m talking to people who know what’s transpiring.
A common way of communicating about any unknown matter is to render it in terms of a known. We call this way of speaking communicating by “metaphor” (or simile). This is like that. This can be understood in terms of that. Life is like a bowl of cherries. Love makes the world go round. You are my dream lover. These are all metaphors.
Metaphors have a limited usefulness. Extend them too far and we run into the fact that a metaphor is similar but not identical to the thing described. So when I give you the metaphor I have in mind about “our” work, please know that it has its limits and is similar but not identical to what I’m comparing it to. A metaphor will break down if carried too far.
There is a limited usefulness to the metaphor that “our” work is like a play being acted out on a stage. At a play, there are those who are staging the production and those who are attending it. Let’s leave aside all the stage managers, set designers, ticket sellers, and ushers and restrict our attention to the actors and audience.
A set of actors have come to Earth at this time to stage a play. These actors are starseeds, walk-ins, wanderers, crystals, indigos, etc. Later on their numbers will include galactics, ascended masters, angels, etc., but for now (Feb. 1, 2011) there are really only us starseeds, etc., visible.
We are acting in the play. Others whom I believe could be called “terrestrials” are watching our play. Our play is instructive, educational. It isn’t designed to be entertainment. We’re saying, “Hey, 2012 is coming and here’s what to expect.” And the “terrestrials,” who’ve come to participate in ascension, may not yet be awake to what ascension is. They can be thought of as watching the play, puzzling through what we’re saying, agreeing and disagreeing.
Later on they will join the play until fewer and fewer people remain in the audience and more and more people are acting in the play.
Eventually the starseeds, walk-ins, etc., will have done their job and, in my sense of the situation, will return to their natural settings. More and more terrestrials will assume the tasks now done by starseeds.
Now I realize that one could take this metaphor and impose on it a hierarchical flavor and write into it that starseeds are somehow “better” or “more developed” than terrestrials. Starseeds may be more developed. I imagine they are or they wouldn’t have signed on for the task of assisting planet Earth with their ascension. However, many, if not most, starseeds still have filters on and don’t know their own origins. They simply feel drawn to participate in the work of ascension at this point.
No, they are not better – any more than actors are “better” than audiences. They simply have signed on to do a certain line of work. Yes, they must be more developed or they could not do that work. I think that follows but does not vitiate the metaphor.
On the other side of life, people from the Higher Summerlands descend to the Lower Summerlands to help the residents there ascend. The people from the Higher Summerlands are “serving.” They;re not better than the residents of the Lower Summerlands but they’re more developed. There is no “better” or “worse” in life any more than a Grade Seven student is “better” than a Grade Three student.
But, for now, the actors in the play are communicating and demonstrating to the audience what lies ahead.
This metaphor of there being actors and audience, starseeds, etc., and terrestrials, has a certain limited usefulness in describing what’s happening at the moment.
As the energies rise, as the galactics and spirit hierarchy make their presence more widely known, more and more people who have not signed up to “serve” ascension but who’ve signed up to participate in it will awaken and join the actors on the stage. Fewer and fewer people will be spectators.
Another metaphor for what is happening is to speak of flour and yeast. Add water to the mix (the rising energies) and the yeast works on the flour to cause the dough to rise. So, at this point in the drama, the starseeds act on the terrestrials to cause them to awaken (in concert with the rising energies and the re-awakening of the starseeds themselves).
I know these two metaphors may cause as much disagreement as agreement but I’m trying to find a way to talk about what is happening at the moment, as I see it.
I now know something about myself. In this lifetime I am not “seeking enlightenment.” I am “serving.” I am happy with the stage at which I am in life as a continuous journey and have agreed to, instead of seeking more enlightenment than whatever stage I may have attained (keeping in mind that enlightenment is continuous and virtually endless) have signed up for a mission to Earth, so to speak. I think that I agreed to write about ascension and on that basis came to Earth.
My reading from Linda Dillon said I was an Arcturian starseed and that seems to fit. I get from myself no remonstrance, no opposition, to that statement. It “resonates.” If I look at what I’m drawn to, I’m drawn to writing about ascension, accountability, NESARA, disclosure – all the elements in the drama currently being enacted on Earth (and elsewhere). I now think it pretty safe to think that I signed up for this.
I am not drawn at this moment to “seek enlightenment,” but I am drawn to “serve.” Based on my dreams last night, I’ve been re-introduced to my soul group who seem to be here for a similar purpose. So here I am, writing away, doing what I now see as my job. If I wake up too suddenly to the reality of my situation, I may just lay down tools and say, “Hey, I don’t need to be doing this. I could just sit underneath that tree and veg.” It’s important that I not wake up too suddenly if I want to fulfill my soul contract of writing in the way I’m doing.
“Seeking enlightenment” remains the purpose of life. I’ve taken time out from the work of progressively seeking more light to help with this ascension effort on Earth. My job is to “serve” this lifetime and to go back to ”seeking” later in this lifetime or perhaps in another. Of course some may say that “serving” is in fact contributing to one’s enlightenment and I’d agree with that.
It’s very difficult to be writing this because there is so much that could be misinterpreted or misunderstood. I could be seen as elitist, conceited, arrogant. But i don’t feel elitist, conceited, or arrogant any more than a pilot in the Second World War who is teaching flying to other pilots could be automatically considered to be conceited or arrogant. Even there someone could say, “Oh, so you think you know how to fly and we don’t.” Well, I’m not quite saying that. I’m just trying to find a metaphor that will convey the sense of what I suspect. If acting and flying are not good metaphors, then by all means suggest one that is.
Here’s another: I’m starting to awaken to the fact that I’ve come here as a starseed from some other place, which I assume is Arcturus, to assist in this wonderful event of ascension and that I’m one of the “hired help.” I’m not supposed to be feasting and singing at the table, but more supposed to be gathering up and washing the dishes. There. Perhaps that’s a better metaphor.
If you’re reading this on Feb. 1, 2011, I’m willing to bet that you’re also one of the actors, the pilot instructors, or the hired help. Not like we’re fully aware of it yet, but, whether aware of it or not, I think that’s the way things may turn out to be.
That’s as much as I can say at the moment. I hope I’m accurate. I hope I’m not delusional or mistaken. I can only describe how it appears to me with the awareness I have at the moment.
I can’t believe how visible I feel at this moment. Since I’m only human, even if from Arcturus, I feel the need to rush back into my cave and spend a while being invisible.
