Hi guys, it’s been a while since I last posted anything on this forum. I felt the need to inform you all on my experience of the fires and rain in Washington State. I live in central Tacoma, and I never saw a single fire. It makes sense since there isn’t a lot of forest in this area. But there was a lot of smoke last week; certainly not as much as in California and Oregon, but it was still enough to feel very uncomfortable to breathe outside. Starting on Friday the 18th, we saw rain that cleared up the sky somewhat. I believe it took two days for the smoke to be completely tamped down. There were about two days after that where we had sunshine, and on Tuesday the 22nd and every day after that, it has rained. It has felt almost like a typhoon some days because the rain is pouring down so hard. I do appreciate all your efforts to stop the fires. I don’t know if there are any more fires in Washington, but I believe California needs your help more than we do. Keep at it friends, you are doing a great job.
