I will explain how you can put an image in your post here at the forum. I’ll do it in a separate thread so people can easily find it.
Also because we have limited correction opportunity, you can “practice” here first in this thread, without disrupting the other conversation threads.
(Possibly Catherine can at times, delete the failed attempts?)
As you can guess it isn’t too straightforward. Let’s dive into it …

A while back we discovered how we can “include” images to actually show up in a post. I will describe this working method as best I can.
First, please be aware there is currently a setting that limits the included images to two maximum per post. This includes “links” to anything else … like for instance YouTube, an internet address or whatever. The total connections to something outside the post is two. Keep this in mind.
Second, the actual image needs to be somewhere on the internet where you can directly link too AND with the actual address of the image type itself … most common are .jpg .jpeg .gif .png and .bmp

A very easy way to freely create these links is through the website imgur.com or its app tablet or phone version.
You can create a free account there and put all your images there, both hidden or public. The thing is, once you make your imgur post and view it … and whatever image or images it holds … you have the ability to share it!
Now, you need to make sure you go to … one single image view! If you are there, look for the share option or symbol.

Like in this picture … see the share option all the way down on the right. Once you click it, you will have several options how to share it. You should choose the option [copy URL] so your image link address is copied in to the temporary “copy and paste” memory position.
Your link should be something like this https://i.imgur.com/JGYlAKF.jpeg

Now the last part is to actually “paste” this link in between the text of your post. All our posts are written while we are in this little input window, with the few buttons on top. This tiny and simple editor has some options to bold, italic or quote text … but also holds a link and an image option.
For this purpose we like to include a direct link to an image and need the specially made popup menu for it, which is marked as the [IMG] button (look at the top of your input window here).
So when you click this button … you first get a popup window asking for the address to the actual image. This is when you “paste” the memory you copied from the Imgur app or website (make sure you paste it in correctly, over what is already there the… https:// … your full and direct link to your image should be there afterwards).

Finally you get a second popup window offering you a name for your image. This isn’t directly visible … do just type something short.
When you did everything correctly, you should see something like this code in your post you are typing and editing between a < and /> symbol

For searching copyright free images I usually use https://www.freeimages.com
I search on a keyword, download an i age I like, upload it into my imgur account and proceed as described above.

whoa, I got a bit dizzy reading it all just now …..
I suppose I’d hoped it was simpler and that I’d get the hang of it ( realize now I was probably hoping that if I got the photo from my cell phone to my email program that I could somehow move the photo from there ?? )I don’t have anyone savvy at hand to help me out , so I will read and re-read the info again on a day when I can absorb it better , feeling a bit brain-foggy and spacie today – and I really appreciate how you have organized it all very sensibly and clearly here in its own thread.
I will make note of the steps to follow and get brave sometime soon, I hope : )

I agree with you about Disneyland. The park opened in 1955, the year before I was born, so we have aged together, it and I. I have fond memories of going there a couple of times over the years. Like so many “evil“ companies or corporations, the employees and staff are simply making a living like the rest of us. At least that’s how I look at it.

We’re doing well. We’re still stuck at home because of covid but in reality its just our boss’ paranoia. He said we have to have zero symptoms to come back to work, and Raven and I still have some very mild symptoms. I’m just going to lie to them if my mild cough isn’t gone by next week, I need to start making money again. I know it will be okay though, my dad said he would help with bills if we need it.

Good to hear you are recovering and go through the whole Covid circus apparently “harmless” … possibly only some financial “illegal” damage. Also good to read how in a sense this situation … offers your parents an opportunity to do some caring and healing too.
I have come to understand … nothing is as it appears. We are sometimes put in places or positions, not directly for our own growth … but for “others” to do some soul searching, caring and loving … observing you!!
This way you have “agreed” to be on the receiving end of love, which isn’t an easy “side” at all … knowing from own experience.
Anyway, I sense little to almost none “victim energy”, which is definitely a huge higher frequency you are currently surfing. Thank you Alex 💕💓💞🌈🙏😘

Glad to hear you’re doing quite well, the both of you, Alex. If you did anything in particular to treat your symptoms, AND if you feel like sharing, I’d be interested. It’s a personal question so feel free to ignore it!
Your plan to deal with your boss gets the thumbs up from me. 👏 My opinion, which I’m never loathe to share, is that it ought to be illegal to put an employee on a lengthy, unpaid medical leave for a disease that hasn’t been proven to exist and for which there is no reliable diagnostic test. Oh wait, I think it is illegal!😖 🤣
