I am curious to see what others’ thoughts are on people and places from works of fiction. Do you think they are real? Do you think they are pure imagination? I will offer my point of view to get the ball rolling.
I believe that people and places from works of fiction are real. Our Creator is infinite, eternal, and all-powerful, able to create a fractal-like reality for us to play in, where whole universes are born from the smallest changes in quantum fluctuations. There is a theory in physics called the Multiverse Theory, it’s quite fascinating.
With all that information, in my own mind it feels silly to think that these beautifully detailed and well thought out stories are bound to and restricted by the ink in a book, or the frames in a movie.
Let me know your thoughts on my opinion, and what your opinions are.

In a manner of speaking, I agree. Epic works of literature may very well be channeled information of an actual timeline. As Creator Beings, if an idea enters our consciousness, there’s a reason for it.
A figure like Santa Claus carries a great deal of collective energy and could most certainly be considered real.
Can we astral travel to hang out with our favorite fictional characters? Or will it be like the Holodeck on Star Trek?

I believe that we can speak to those characters and visit their worlds through astral travel. I have had many experiences that support that idea.

HI Anael,
I think one of the beauties of God is the use, and playing with, the imagination, not necessarily to create anything, but to play and dream with different ideas. When you look at writers like J. R. R. Tolkien and C.S Lewis, they altered the minds of readers with their creative fiction of Good and evil. I think most fiction comes from imagining slightly altered versions of things that already exist, so, in that way, fiction holds reality in a slightly altered state.Could it be real? Anything could be. But I think to say that fiction already exists takes away from the writers creativity and imagination. I think God likes to dream within us. Something is always created from each thought, but not always the direct idea is created, I believe. I think each work of fiction alters reality, and maybe creates a new sequence of events and adds maybe un-thought of creations to the worlds collective consciousness. I’m also sure many things that are written in fiction are indeed, in maybe a lightly altered form, happening elsewhere in the universe.
Those are my thoughts!

I appreciate your contribution. I believe that when someone creates a story, they create that reality somewhere.

When I write fiction, it feels like channeling, and always has, since long before I knew what “channeling” might mean. I’m just tapping into something that’s already there. It’s fun! (until we get to the revision process, but that’s another story…revision is fun in its own way, it’s even its own kind of channeling, but nothing beats watching some story you’ve never read or heard of flowing out of your fingers onto paper or screen)

I resonate strongly with your view. I think since everything exists all at once, we are simultaneously creating new things and channeling things that already exist. I know that it’s a paradox but paradoxes are seemingly abundant in the higher realms.

Thanks, Anael. I wrote for decades before starting to seriously contemplate “this woo-woo stuff,” so I’m much more at home talking about writing than metaphysics. I truly believe everything exists simultaneously, but no matter how many times I read various explanations, or have a discussion with a mentor or colleague, there is simply no way I can consciously get it (at least at this moment). I believe it fully, but I feel incapable of understanding it. Paradox!

Imagine yourself having a “life” experience in the middle ages. Your personal awareness is been fed with guilt, sickness, judgement, death and Almighty God/Satan. So in this environment you found a moment of prayer and you asked for an escape out of this hell.
In the night, when you are sleeping, your wish is granted and your guides show you a glimpse of “the future”. They take you by the hand and bring you to our now. You walk on concrete at the sidewalk. People passing by, strangely clothed, wearing mouth protection. Cars chasing by that have people captured in their stomachs. You hear loud noises and sense very weird smell while breathing.
Then all of a sudden a phone rings and a person starts talking out loud and full of emotion into this device. You look up to the sky, where you expect heaven is located, as you see and hear a plane pass by.
There are many emotions you experience all at once, none of them holding security, comfort or peace. You simply can’t relate to this place, because you can’t connect the dots. You lack the conscious travel to make sense of this world. Just standing on the sidewalk, while a vehicle called a car is rapidly approaching towards you, makes you piss your pants. Although you are perfectly safe, because of traffic regulations, you don’t experience this. You start to run and run harder, but somehow there is no escaping this place.
Then you wake up, in your old comfortable surrounding realising it was just a dream. You are back home and hell looks a whole lot better today. You go up to church and continue digesting the usual consciousness you are familiar with and always given you comfort!
The end
🙂

At the same now somewhere inside a human body, there is a single cell having a conscious awakening shift. This cell becomes very self aware, and “sees” the outside world. As time goes by, it notices change. Somehow “strange” objects it wasn’t aware of before, are all around. These invading objects, attack and destroy the former and usual way of being.
That isn’t the way it’s suppose to be! That’s bad! Let’s identify these “outside” invaders, so we can destroy them and go back to the “happy” way we were before. These vicious “virus” beings kill us.
Let’s join forces with all the cells, around us and spread the word! Let’s use our joined power … Problem, Solution … Creation! Then soon in due future time All will be as before in the past sense of Being … The way we were.
Let’s meditate and pray, inform our higher self we are under attack. There is someone out there, we know for sure. This higher being should be notified and “protect” us.
Oh God, I hope our prayer’s are heard and we will be saved soon.
The end
🙂

Thank you for your stories
One Ray LoveStaying within the analogy,
Creating from a place of lack unaware – time passes, awareness grows and this is seen. Once seen, allowing of the unfolding. It appears that the former dissolves, helplessly the witness – sometimes holding on but the deeper part knowing it must be let go…
The deeper non material world – and the material world. Must I “be here” in this material world ? You are here….so… the story continues.
Then the “new fears” (illusions) arrive due to the “new” circumstance. ….long for the old again or get overwhelmed with the “what now” ….
Then seeing……. created the old again as a safety “net”. Fears quieted. All illusion. Illusion dissolves.Once again realization – or maybe there is a continuous realization happening that can be denied or embraced.
To ignore feels like separation (death), so embrace I must……
and the story continues. Dissolution, …..One “path” may be to allow the unfolding as the ever changing patterns continue…. oh so tired. Trust – where did the trust go. Faith – is now blind.
The other is withdraw – raise the vibration…. Be Love. Practice Being Love.
(book placed on the shelf)….I know I am in the presence of a master when the guard comes down, the tears flow, and illusion becomes more clear.
Thank you….as the story continues.-

Dear Gardenlor.
I read it several times and what I “received” was the expression of beauty. This beauty slowly dissolves, in an attempt to understand or capture in “knowing”. Some creations get lost there and can only fully Be expressed in experience within “feeling” … NOW LOVE emerges … reaching its ultimate state in BEING!
Love you and your Light

In an Allied company of soldiers fighting on the “good” side against an invader, cruel and brutal enemy, they get stuck at a river. The cruel evil bastards blew up the bridge to temporary save them against our up march to victory. We are stuck in our initial plan to move forward fast, full of adrenaline and anger for lost lives, destroyed land and property.
We are the saviors to those poor weaker ones who lost their freedom, their total way of existing, who couldn’t defend themselves. Those are the ones who prayed for help and a “solution” out of despair. So we answered, the allied forces to their call, coming to the rescue. This is our truth, there is no possible way to look at it from a different way. Even considering options to the contrary creates extreme anger within!
So here we are temporary stuck at an obstacle, a river where we almost can reach the other side as we see it just in front of our eyes. We join forces with all the bright minds in our camp to design a “solution” to our “problem” to puch forward with all force and ingenuity we have. We will build a floating bridge from metal elements strong enough to hold our heavy armor.
One by one the elements are brought in and constructed together. We are almost there and then finally we can continue our “fight” to save the world against “evil”. This time all will be different, for now we will make sure to all mankind, this was the battle and war necessary to end all wars forever.
After this victory we will remember “fighting” doesn’t solve anything. We long for ever lasting peace forever NOW … just this last battle and we will all be heroes, who saved the world against the evil that always ruled the world. We were the ones to expose them, because we were determined in our good cause and perceverance.
Oh the sweetness we can almost taste … almost, but just not yet today. Let’s create a little more time and space, victory is near .. oh so near, possibly tomorrow. Let us all pray, meditate and also inform all people back home and everywhere were they are ignorant of what is really going on. How we are fighting so hard and so long already and now we are almost, yes truly almost at the crossroad for glorious times to arrive for all.
Then they bring in the last metal element to the floating bridge, we brilliantly thought of as “the solution” for this temporary obstacle to our “problem”. We solved it. It’s attached in great enthusiasm. The road to victory is restored. Spread the word, fire up machines, load the armor. Move forward! Follow us, we will lead you to glory! Remember this is the last one. The last fight, the last enemy to defeat … then Peace forever!!!
A soldier at the back of the line wrote some words into his diary.
April 13, 1944 “Finally peace forever! One last battle.”
The end
😉

From fiction to history, you could change 1944 into 1945. But I wrote the story for all to substitute more than just these numbers 🙂

I didn’t think my thread would turn into a story telling thread, but I like it, I’m happy to get people’s creative ideas flowing. Have any of you ever wanted to speak to a fictional character, or befriend one?

If you dangle a title including “Fiction,” all the secret fictionists will creep hesitantly to the edge of your campfire and before you know it, start spinning yarns. May we weave well.
I’ve had many imaginary conversations with Kinsey Millhone over the years; I feel a great affinity for her (we exist in the same town, and largely in the same timeline, the 1980s). Her creator, Sue Grafton, was a gracious and generous person, a light sorely missed.
Blessings!

Hi Anael, you mean like some one you made up? Or do you mean someone you suspect to by fictional, but could in fact be real? Possibly in another time, universe, space or dimension?
For me personal I didn’t or don’t, like in these examples. I do however often have and had conversations in my head to people I actually know hahaha 🙂
For me this is “normal” for all of my life.Love you

When I speak of fictional characters, I am talking about characters from a book, a movie, a tv show, a video game, things like that. I think some people really connect with characters from their favorite stories and wish they could be friends with that person. There are lots and lots of characters that I want to get to know better. But I don’t think they are just characters in a story, I believe they are real and live somewhere out in the multiverse.

Thank you OneRayLov. Your creativity opens doorways and thank you for your comments.
Anael,
To your question of speaking to a fictional character….Have you or anyone wondered about the idea that thought is always…as in all thought exists (some in form) and we are tuners seeking. Feeling our way through.
…. – when I am in conversation with someone with an exaggerated accent I find myself speaking that way in return unconsciously. Tuning..? I don’t know.
Authors often say that the direction their characters take is a surprise to them ( as the writer).Life feels that way to me as I have expressed here (unpacked here….not knowing it wanted to be said).
Creator-Love-Creation – in form here and all of you are in a way “fictional”…..but each one feels different in your expressions of Love (by the campfire)
Aneal, I think I have just added to the question (haha)- I share with the added wondering – what is fiction ?
A dream within a dream….?And on another note- the battle is over. Peace. (date to be inserted by reader)

I believe that there is only one immutable truth: God is. Everything beyond that simple statement is a fantasy that the Creator has imagined so he/she can enjoy self-discovery. All of our lives are part of an infinite work of fiction that is infinitely valuable and enjoyable to our Creator.
There is no inherent value to any of these stories, which means that we as characters have complete freedom to assign any value that we want to them, while our Source loves all of it. We can play as any role, be in any situation, and it’s all just a fun game in the end. So I see any place or character from a book or a tv show as just another player like ourselves in this big game.
