We all have our moments of feeling discouraged and wondering how we’ll ever get through. It’s important to allow the feelings but not dwell on them. These are unprecedented times, and the empaths among us know that the Human Collective is in a bit of a freak-out. Anything we can do to keep our own selves calm and at peace helps the whole of us to do so as well. But sometimes we’re faced with a chronically negative person, maybe even someone who’s close to us and difficult to shield ourselves from. How do you handle that?
Maybe you’re the one who’s having difficulty staying positive. Reach out for help here in the embrace of a loving community.

I can relate to that a lot. At work I am consistently exposed to very negative energy from different people.
The one thing that helps me most overcome my hurt and anger is praying for these people – I mean really purposeful praying for that particular person who hurt me that day. Sometimes I also ask to be shown the reason for the person’s behavior, or I try to tune into his/her energy to find out what he/she actually needs. I was also surprised about the effect an “inner conversation” with that person had. I assume that the person’s higher self was actually present.
Sometimes I lack the strength to do those things.
But the following can also help to clean oneself of unpleasant energies:– take a salt bath or shower (rock salt if possible)
– rose water and frankincense help clean your aura, especially combined
– sports help pushing and washing unwanted energies out of the body
– being in nature
– taking a bath in natural lakes, rivers, the sea…
– spending time with pets (after cleaning oneself to prevent them from being affected)
– and a good talk with a friend or your partner to lift your vibration (I suppose, but I live alone)After all, it’s a long learning process. And the better we know ourselves and the more we accept and love who we are as parts of creation, the less vulnerable we are.
The thought that there is a reason why I am “confronted” with a certain person also helps me to accept my part in this relationship – it’s a chance to grow for both sides.🙂

Dear Suzanne, thanks for this topic that got me laugh … Probably because of recognition haha.
The thing I try to do is remind myself of the fact that “other” people are a part of myself. Furthermore that they wouldn’t show up in my field of awareness if there wasn’t “gain”. For I believe every experience in the “outside reality”, are my own Light reflections of Love from … past creations/events/thoughts/lives or Higher Dimension guidance to benefit my/our current spiritual growth.
So that’s the understanding part. That still doesn’t answer why I consider and actually FEEL this “other” person negative!? That’s a personal “judgement call” and worth exploring … when you have or find the appropriate strength or peace to deal with it.

It really is all about Unity. These are great points…and praying for others and putting ourselves in their shoes takes us out of dwelling on whatever our own upset is.

I read this today, on unity consciousness, and for me it seems to explain why I have felt for most of my life that I could never sufficiently communicate with anyone.

I made this for my personal use a while ago, but I’ll share it here unedited. It’s hopefully pretty universal.
Mantra for neutralizing judgments
I Love You
I Forgive You
I Bless YouSaying I Love You to someone that you have judged helps to acknowledge their innate Divinity, and helps to accept them exactly as they are.
Saying I Forgive You lets that person off the hook unconditionally for being a flawed human being, which to be flawed is human nature itself. Forgiveness also releases you from attachment to a person or a situation such that when the offense occurs again, your emotional response is weaker and weaker until there is no emotional charge left.
Saying I Bless You shows that you want the very best for them; it offers that person a higher divine energy to enter their being, giving them an opportunity to rise above their shortcomings and live a happier life.
When you feel that you are in judgment of yourself, someone else or a group or situation, stop yourself immediately, mid thought, mid emotion, and take a deep breath. Let that breath out and first use the mantra on yourself until you feel a change in your energy, which will most likely manifest as relaxation. Then use the mantra on the other person, group or situation until you feel a change in your energy once more. This will elevate both parties into a higher state of consciousness and create opportunities for growth.
If you catch yourself in judgment and you notice that you haven’t used the mantra in a while, use it on yourself first, then use it on the people who you have been judging lately.
If you find that you cannot forgive a person for their actions or behavior, try to see the innocent Divine Spirit underneath the human shell. One way to do so is to see in your mind’s eye a white flame in the center of someone’s chest, representing their soul. Let go of the human shell and focus the mantra completely on the soul.

Thank you very much Anael
I Love You
I Bless YouAnd I Forgive You as well! For in my humble understanding and experience, this is the most difficult part for us humans to share … and even harder to receive!
I notice your wonderful contribution on this forum. Looks to me you are very close to “manifestation” into your purest Light essence. Love it!

I sure do hope so, but I am definitely not a perfect example of what many people think a Lightworker should be. I know that everyone’s path is different so I don’t feel guilty about my choices, but I also know that there are some things that other Lightworkers do that I don’t and would disqualify me from being a role model for the awakening public.
My flaws do make me more relatable to them though, which is how I like it to be. I don’t meditate very often, only when I feel like it; I almost never go out in nature because I love how cozy the indoors are (and all of my hobbies I can do from my bedroom); I am not vegan or vegetarian, I have a pretty crappy diet, which I have vowed to work on. I didn’t have a lot of discipline growing up, so now that I’m just starting to taste some freedom (I’m 24 years old), I have to figure out how to be an adult with only my husband to help me. It’s really hard to motivate myself to change some things, but I am making progress.
I know my body won’t be able to process meats and other animal products at some point so I will, at my own pace, phase them out of my diet. I try to bless and thank the animals whose bodies were sacrificed for my nourishment as often as I can remember because so long as I am alive on this planet, I will help work towards a future where they will never have to be killed for food ever again.

Well, you shouldn’t feel guilty for your diet. (I say this as a vegan). It took me some time, but I figured out that there’s a reason for each person eating the way they do (beyond the obvious reasons like appetite or nutrients)
🙂

I want to add that I am quite happy to have my flaws because as I said, it makes me relatable to the awakening public. When we all have to come out into the open and be really upfront with people about who we are and what we know, I don’t want people who listen to me and come to me for comfort to think, “Wow, this woman is truly Divine, there is such a huge gap between us that I can never hope to close, I am just a filthy sinner and will always be one.” I want people to see my flaws and say, “Oh, this enlightened person is still human, so it’s okay for me to be human too. My flaws don’t define me.”

You know Anael … in these last posts you opened up so much about yourself, I can truly feel you!
I like to offer you this seed coming from the purest part of myself.
Please observe many (including you sweet Anael) send out lots of “views” about your personal perception regarding “reality” you have learned and are containing in your “body of consciousness”.
Let’s all try and become pupils among teachers
Love you

You are very welcome Anael.
My human name is Ralph and was born in the Netherlands and therefore Dutch. While I was living in the Dominican Republic, people couldn’t pronounce my name correctly, so it went from Rafael to eventually Ray. That’s how I went through life for a while, in a time what now appeared to be my spiritual bootcamp. But that’s another story, for another time.
What resulted out of this, is the beauty within my birth name. For you have to know Ralph in my country isn’t pronounced as the English way, but rather has a soft flow in it .. like Ra~luv. Because of spirituality I learned Light equals to a persons intent, which is always reflected back at the origin as where it came from or the person/creator in question as Love.
Then one day I realised, I am One Ray of Light, receiving my own (former) Light constantly in the Love that surrounds me. So OneRayLove, while existing/being in the Now is reduced to a single spot of Light~Love!
How beautiful and blessed I was, with such a name to start this human experience.
Much love Ralph

How wonderful!
I used to feel the same: surrounded, protected and guided by my own actual being and energy.
I guess I still am, but I can’t sense it anymore-

Hi Tesmaree. Firstly thank you!! Secondly I “feel” what you try to express with your senses having shifted!! In my humble opinion … so has your consciousness … and therefore your whole etheric field and aura.
Your senses and feelings are much more subtle, more close to loving and now, which brings them into the spectrum of actual self-love and peace. Because of this you are also attracting different expierences and people.
My humble “truth” I freely offer anyone to ponder about 🙂
Love you
