I awoke at 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning (May 1, 2014) feeling distressed, as if something had happened that was very serious and bad. Immediately my mind began to search through the events of the day and connect to anything that could be interpreted as the cause.
I began to disasterize and felt myself getting panicky. In the face of an upwelling of energy that I felt in my chest region, I resisted and began to sink into fear.
And then I remembered that the Tsunami of Love was occurring and switched tack.
I now imagined that I had a pair of garden shears and began snipping the connections to these distressing feelings. I observed them but without attaching to them. What my mind originally conceived of as a “crisis” now passed easily and I found myself on the other side, feeling expanded, more stable, more loving, etc. I interpret the cause as being the Tsunami.
Had I remained connected to these feelings and believed my mind’s suggestions that something had actually happened to cause them, I think I might have placed myself in great difficulty. I might have thought I was “losing it” and increased my resistance, which would have compounded the difficulty I was in, rather than lessening it.
But when I detached myself from these feelings, the upwelling of energy proceeded easily and without incident.
So what I’m saying is that, when you feel a sense of alarm or panic in the face of an upwelling of energy, don’t attach to it. Nothing is wrong. Nothing is out of order. Nothing bad is happening.
Don’t follow the mind into attributing what’s happening to the events of the day. This is the Tsunami and the energy is to be expected.
In a reading I had with Archangel Michael April 29, 2014, he said that much of the regridding and energetic downloads and adjustments would happen in our sleep. I just happened to awaken when it was happening for me. Many people may sleep right through it.
Perhaps two years ago, when we were all clearing (when have we not been?), we discussed how, if vasanas (reaction patterns from the past) remain, we might have a rockier ride than otherwise. Well, here we are and this is exactly what I was referring to, though I had no idea when this time might arrive.
Those people who’ve cleared their major vasanas will probably simply allow the upwelling and may even enjoy it. But those for whom some major vasanas remain (myself included) may resist it and find themselves in a rockier passage than otherwise. But all will get through it.
Whatever you do, don’t panic. Things are as they should be.
Simply imagine yourself cutting your connections to the way you’re feeling, be a witness to what occurs, breathe through it, and allow the experience to go on to conclusion unresisted.
