Alas, poor Yorick!
Andrea raised some thought-provoking points in her comments yesterday on withholds. I wanted to add to that commentary myself.
This is the first time I’ve had the luxury of a colleague whom I could carry on a discussion with publicly. It’s like a new era for me.
And Andrea’s experiences have been so rich in learning that I do encourage her to share them for the helpfulness it’ll produce for lightworkers.
Andrea suggests that she’s aware of the lessening of personal power that comes from withholding and she gave up trying to withhold anything about herself many years ago.
We do in fact tie up our energy and power in withholding. As Communication Workshop Leader Jed Naylor said many moons ago:
“What often blocks completion is what we call ‘withholds.’ Withholds are statements your survival seems dependent upon not delivering. Withholds are statements that recur and recur and recur, the statements that grab you when they do recur. They limit participation.
“Withholds are statements that you feel compelled to justify.” (Communications Workshop Leader Jed Naylor, Oct. 1980.)
Werner Erhard’s experience in his family was much like mine:
“What was real [in my family] was not spoken about. People did not discuss what was really going on with them. Yet their dirty little secrets were dirty only because they were held as secrets – and indeed secrets which they held to be dirty. People demeaned their own experience.” (Werner Erhard in WE, 31.)
We evade personal responsibility by keeping secrets and withholding the truth. We increase our tendency to perpetrate and rest in incompletion. On all this I agree with Andrea.
Nonetheless the matter isn’t quite as clear-cut and simple as a mere question of withholding or not withholding1 my truth and experience. There are matters that go far beyond the personal that need to remain secret for reasons of safety, etc. Let me name two circumstances. The first is confidential knowledge of actions taken by the Light to contain the recalcitrants who are still harming humanity.
Downing aircraft, perhaps re-introducing Ebola, inflaming regions, baiting countries and then the actions we don’t generally hear or know about.
Years ago, a prominent lightworker asked me to join a then-well-known coalition of Earth allies, but the price would have been that I’d become a sharer of secrets. At the time I said no because I wanted to remain transparent.
But as I move further into the mission of serving as a communicational bridge between the Company of Heaven and lightworkers in some cases or the general public in others, it’s no longer possible to hold myself aloof from the role of secret-bearer and secret-sharer. And this may be a circumstance you face as well so I discuss it.
The Company of Heaven wants me to be aware of some actions taken even if I can’t speak about them. They want me to know what the CoH is doing and the scale of their actions so that I don’t think that nothing is happening – as I have, on occasion.
While I can’t speak about the actions themselves, I can talk about the difficulties presented by having to remain silent. The actions are large and must be kept secret both for the safety of white-hat Earth allies and galactic ground crew and so as not to tip off the recalcitrant ones which the actions are aimed at restraining or containing.
In this area of things, the decision is not whether to bite the bullet and withhold or share with all and sundry. The second course of action is not an option.
In this regard, I understand much better how president Obama must feel. He came in promising transparency but very soon had to amend his plans. There is only so much transparency he can offer before he puts many things at jeopardy.
The second area of things has to do with the financial. Many lightworkers will play a role in the new abundance programs. And the conventional wisdom is that they should observe a prudent silence about themselves, their resources, their work, etc. And I agree.
We don’t post the combination to our office safe on the blog or our passwords on Facebook.
Archangel Michael has asked me not to observe the same degree of silence. He wants me to describe my trip to the bank – a course of action which is very much counter-intuitive. But at the same time he also wants me to observe circumspection and prudence so I don’t invite con artists to stalk me, thieves, etc. It’s a fine dance.
He says that I and my loved ones are protected but I could increase the hassle I have to deal with if I share certain information. And I could increase the stress on me, which we know lowers awareness.
So there’s an element of prudence required when we’re playing large financial roles on the global stage and the fineness of that line increases if we’re asked to play a communicational role at the same time.
So it isn’t that I disagree with Andrea. The greatest degree of transparency is desirable, short of risking the safety of others and the security of operations that are aimed at benefitting lightworkers and whose successs depends on that security.
On the higher planes, there’s no such thing as hiding. A person’s thoughts can be read. And the world we’ll building is one where transparency will be valued.
But until the recalcitrant ones have withdrawn from their positions of influence, a degree of prudence remains required. To conduct oneself otherwise is to risk harming others by one’s actions.
