As prosperity approaches and with it the release from our grinding financial situation generally, many people appear to be breaking free of the constraints and binds that tie them generally.
It can be a raucous time and some of the breaking free can be inconvenient and appear threatening but, in my opinion, it’s a necessary process to go through, regardless.
Others are looking at higher modes of functioning. And that’s something I wanted to discuss at more length today.
So far we’ve been volunteer lightworkers. And we may still remain voluntary lightworkers (or not) after financial reconstruction. It may not be that which changes.
But other things will.
The biggest change I can see is that we’ll have to and want to learn to work together in well-functioning, cooperative units if we’re to build Nova Earth. And that in turn raises numerous topics to consideration.
One is the subject of higher modes of functioning. If we really look at the way our higher selves function, and here I’m going on memory since I’m not functioning from my higher self at the moment, we’ll see that certain actions come from the mind/body complex and others come from the higher self.
I could have said from the heart or the soul. They’re all the same thing. The soul “lives” on the other side of the hridayam, or spiritual heart, the pin-prick that walls off our physical body from the soul. (1) Certain urges, thoughts, and actions either come from the soul or invoke (or “stir”) the soul.
All we have to do to test that out and see it is to take a stand on something. A firm “no” in the face of immoral or unethical behavior stirs the soul. There are other things that stir the soul and it’s these things we need to cultivate, I think.
One is to make a promise or a commitment. Test it out. Watch the soul stir in the face of us nailing ourselves to the mast. Another is to tell the truth at the very deepest level. Another is to share a withhold, something we’ve said or done which we’re trying to keep a secret.
If the divine qualities liberate, the mundane qualities bind. Secretiveness, wishy-washiness, going back on our word – all of these bind us, whereas the soul is stalwart, uncompromisingly moral and ethical, and only “comes alive” when we take the high road.
But many people don’t enjoy the process of stepping into the higher ways. Being woken up, being made to commit ourselves, being asked to share what we’re hiding – these are not popular calls. But sooner or later, that’s where we need to go, I think, if we’re to function on a level needed to build Nova Earth, a world that works.
My intention is to begin acting that way myself, to “be the change we want to see,” as Graham, quoting Gandhi, said on The Brilliance Within. I don’t think I’m going to go the route of requiring that of others, although I may ask them what their commitment is, what the withhold is, what the down-deep truth is.
No, wait a minute. I think I’ll just be the change myself and trust that these wonderful energies are waking us all up at our own pace and in our own time. I think we’re far enough down the road that the call is operating on all of us by now.
