I get to see how interesting the game of life is now.
God gave us a body which is a tool for our experience. But it’s also the greatest contrarium, obstacle, or barrier to the uninhibited play of our true nature.
Part of the time we’re meant to enjoy, explore and experience what life is like on this plane of existence through this body. And part of the time we’re meant to seek the road back to our uninhibited nature.
God also gave us freewill and a mind. With them we decided to become creators ourselves. And so we created a second version of ourselves, exactly as God did: a shell, an I-Robot. And we empowered this constructed self to do our acting for us.
Remember the blow-up dolls in Airplane that were flying the plane? These personas are our blow-up dolls and they lead our lives. We send them out into the world, exactly as God did us. We are gods in our world, or so we thought.
In part we constructed them in response to the hurts we suffered. We said “Never again!” and created men-at-arms encased in strong suits of armor who would do battle for us.
These stand-ins fought our wars, laid seige to the castles of others, and even made love for us. They represented us and made treaties with other men-at-arms and soon we became just the central brain, no heart, that watched over their deeds in the world.
Farther and farther away we moved from the Mother’s hearth fire until one day we realized we had become prodigal children. Oh yes, we were rich in the wealth of the world. But we’d become impoverished in the wealth of love.
So we wrote Divine Mother begging her to take us back. And she sent directions on how to find her again. But she asked us to leave the I-Robots, the men-at-arms where they were and set out on the journey without them, without our worldly winnings, using only our hearts as our compass.
And to do that, we had to meet some fairly stiff conditions. No more could we respond to the call of the world. We had to step off the endless carousel which the life of the world is. We had to count as our wealth only our light and accept as our nourishment only her love.
And we had to consent to risking being not understood, without striking back. We who had departed the social consensus long ago because we took up the Ascension path now may have to depart more paths as our commitment firms and the road gets narrower. Having found comrades who understood our desire for Ascension, we may now need to appear insane even before them. Always the price gets higher.
Our longing burns ever brighter. All comfort we seek we get from inside. And the only song we sing is a call to the world to join us as we follow our heart back to the Mother.
