The divine qualities are the attributes of God. It’s our universal and eternal assignment to know God. In lifetime after lifetime, aided by the universal laws, we try out ways of being, often blindly, hoping to win for ourselves the rest and comfort we continually seek. That rest and comfort is to be found, I believe, only in an increasing knowledge and understanding of God. And the way to find it, I’m convinced, is to live by the divine qualities.
So what are God’s qualities?
Awareness, truth, love, commitment, service, compassion, depth, accountability – these are examples of divine qualities. It would make sense that the ways of being that would have us break through to higher dimensionality, find rest and comfort, and be like God – the new paradigm, that is – would be ways founded on these same divine qualities.
Raising our awareness, telling the truth, loving, committing ourselves to others, serving, exercising compassion, reaching into the depths of our being and being accountable for our thoughts and deeds would all be examples of new-paradigm ways of being.
Awareness is what God is. The truth of our being is what we seek. Loving is who the divine is.
Commitment is the glue of a society that works divinely. Service is the way of the divine. Compassion is how the divine treats “others.”
Depth is the direction we go in to access the divine. And accountability is how we invite correction to anything divine that we understand incompletely or mistakenly. It invites truing up or realignment – to the divine.
Not unexpectedly, these are also the ways of being that I saw exhibited by the people in my dream of the New World.
But they were not exhibiting these ways in a rote, forced, or robotic manner. They were behaving naturally and fluidly in a more godlike manner towards themselves and others than we do.
I’m not very good at visualizing things. I have to feel it in myself or see it in others to really get it. That’s what my recent dream of the New World contributed to me. Of course I saw what I did during a time of bliss as well, bliss helping us to comprehend the things we see. I was actually shown the way we’ll act and be towards each other when that New World arises around us and its ways of being arise within us.
Acting like the divine as we imagine It to be is something that we perfect, I suspect, with each higher dimension we succeed in journeying to. And when we listen to such beings as St. Germaine, Sanat Kumara, or Archangel Michael on An Hour with an Angel or Heavenly Blessings, we hear how each higher dimension is more loving, compassionate, and committed.
The closer we get to God, the more we are like to the One. And that means more loving, truthful, and committed.
We may or may not do exceedingly well at first in imitating the divine figures here to lead us, such as those I just named. But simply setting our feet on that path invites improvement.
We must start somewhere. Just heading in the right direction is itself a decent start. And the right direction for me is the direction of the divine qualities, the new paradigm that opens up before us as we climb the divine slope to the celestial mountain top.
The basic spiritual movement is to turn from the world to God. The basic movement is to discriminate between the Real and the unreal, detach from the unreal, and devote ourselves to the Real. And imitating the divine qualities, acting from them, and seeking to perfect them is a shortcut to the Real. Not surprisingly as well, it’s the only way that will allow us, I believe, to survive in the new environment of the higher dimensions.
Selfishness will not. Greed, vengefulness, competition, exploitation – none of them will allow the heart to expand enough to survive in those refined and pure vibrations. If we somehow succeeded in entering those realms with these ways of being intact, we could not long brook that rarified atmosphere. It would be like scaling Everest without an oxygen tank. We’d be forced to abandon the climb at the higher elevations.
There are only two purposes, I would argue, for our sharing our fellowship here and communicating with each other at this time. The first is to perfect the divine qualities within ourselves and the second is to awaken the rest of the world to them. Apparently that has become easier after recent events and will become ever easier as time proceeds until we find ourselves in the Fifth and the bliss of that experience supports us in being those ways effortlessly and eternally.
