About 1,200 miles from a Peruvian ceremonial site, dozens of tombs with up to 40 mummies each have been discovered. It has been found that the mummies range in age from fetus to old age.
The mummies were not set up in the same way they are in Egypt, instead before the bodies stiffened in death, the knees were brought up to the chest and the arms were folded around them. Then, many textiles were wrapped around the bodies during the mummification process.
It’s also been found that the mummies are not in the best of shape. Over the years water and rodents have taken their toll. It’s also been discovered that there have been some mummies that were disturbed and others that are intact.
Right now, archaeologists are not sure what would cause some of them to remain intact, but they do feel that the dismemberment of some mummies was in some way related to an ancient symbol, communitas… which means a community of equals.

I am very glad that there has been such a discovery of our past lately. More so on the discovery of human remains and carbon dating that is taking us back much farther than we have all been told possible. The discovery of life in the cosmos and it’s beautiful phenomena, and the creatures and places on Earth that hold a sense of awe.

White House seeks ban on gay conversion therapies By Kevin Liptak and Sunlen Serfaty, CNN
I literally cannot believe there has ever been a federally mandated “conversion therapy” used to turn gay people straight, but I guess this has been around a while.
In light of a recent suicide of a transgender youth who was subjected to this ‘conversion therapy’, a petition has been circulating to ban this controversial, ethic violating, and damaging therapy. The banning of this therapy will take congressional approval, but some states like California and New Jersey have created their own bans.
The American Psychiatric Association does not find this therapy to be effective. They have found it causes more depression and anxiety in those who are subjected to it. It’s my feeling these conversion therapies are not for the patient, but for the family of the ‘patient’.
The White House announced Wednesday they have designated a gender neutral bathroom inside the building and advocate for visitors to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with, not necessarily the gender they appear to be.
I understand that there are very close-minded people who will be made very uncomfortable with this, and for that I have an open heart full of compassion for them. Sometimes we need to look beyond our own needs to see the bigger picture. Sometimes that bigger picture is showing us what we have not yet dealt with inside of ourselves. Triggers are always a good thing.
For all those who have been affected by or forced into these therapies, I’d have to say this is defintely a step in the right direction. I’m glad we are finally at a point where we are looking at people for who they are and as a whole collectively coming to critical mass with acceptance of others and compassion. What a wonderful world that is unfolding!
Stunning ‘Einstein Ring’
There is a high resolution telescope located in Chile that has been able to capture a galaxy that is 12 billion light years away.
What appears to be a ring of fire is actually referred to as an ‘Einstein Ring’. An Einstein Ring is basically a distant galaxy or light source that becomes distorted through the gravitational lensing of objects in space. This is created by the light of an object with huge mass is in perfect alignment from source, to lens, to the observer. Gravitational lensing is predicted by Einsteins Theory of Relativity. It really is beautiful!
We are far greater beings than we have been told, far greater than most of us realize.
