[Update! We’re happy to say lots of people are coming into our new forum, but the volume is taking it’s toll on our system. The humans are willing, but the machinery is having some issues. Please be patient. If you have issues today and can’t get into the forum, please try again tomorrow.]
This is the official ribbon-cutting, doors-open-wide to all lovers moment! Our brand new community for Lightworkers, Gaia Scene, is open for you to come in!
Please join us and share our commitment to remembering how much we’re a part of ONE Source, and how this Source is founded in Love.
This sounds so corny, and yet in the 4 years of being a lead moderator in our previous forum, the community there has grown into a loving family unit. We do feel the love of our community and we want to share this as many people we can.
It’s awesome to come into a space that feels like a second home. For many of us the sense of isolation has been a long-term trauma. This forum is specifically formed to ease this isolated feeling and to provide a safe environment for people to come together.
Although all are welcomed here, it’s a private special forum with special rules of engagement. Our founding guidelines protect us from abusive and disrespectful elements found in profusion in other forum formats.
Alex and I have created the short section below to assist you to have the easiest experience in getting signed up and seated in this new forum.
We’ve given every consideration to making this forum the safest and most supportive space on the internet for interaction. Come see for yourself. The ‘lights’ are on for you!
How to Register for The Gaia Scene Lightworker Community
Gaia Scene is a Lighworker Community interactive forum that was born out of the desire of the Golden Age of Gaia website readers for more interaction and connection with other lightworkers.
To register as a new user for the Gaia Scene Lightworker Community, please go to https://gaiascene.com , or simply click on our new gorgeous logo on the right-hand side panel.
When you get to the sign-in page, it will ask you for your log-in information. If you’ve not already registered, it will ask you to create a new account. There is click-button in the upper right-hand task bar, or you can create an account from the click-button under the user name.
This action will take you to a registration information page. You’ll be asked to fill in your name, or an appropriate user name. Please note, that since we’re a lightworker community, inappropriate or defamatory usernames will be deleted and the user won’t be approved for membership until submitting an appropriate name.
You’ll also be asked to provide an email address, where the board administrators can contact you if necessary. This will be the email listed if you choose to follow topics and comments or receive a daily digest in email form, so please use an email address that you use actively.
You’ll be asked to fill in a password, your basic geographic location and a little bit about your personal interests. We ask that you let us know what led you to Gaia Scene in this section.
A captcha box will ask you to type in a code. This is to protect the site from computer-generated robots and hackers.
You’ll also be asked to identify the website that Gaia Scene is related to. This simple question and answer lets the system know you’re human. The answer to this question is the name of this blog, or you may also copy and paste the URL to our homepage into the answer box.
You can choose to receive email messages and news from the board, via email. You must read and accept the terms of service by clicking the check box at the bottom of the page. You can also view the Gaia Scene Privacy Policy by clicking the link at the bottom center of the page.
Once you submit your registration material, you’ll see a screen message that advises you to check your email for further instructions. If you don’t receive the email in 10 minutes, please check your email spam folder. Set @gaiascene.com as an allowed email in your filter, if you have this ability on your email client platform.
Once you get your email, simply click on the link provided to confirm your email address. You’ll then be told an administrator will validate your account. This is done in an effort to provide the safest web community possible. An administrator should be able to approve your account within 24 hours. (I would say much, much sooner…)
When your account has been approved, you’ll receive another email message from Gaia Scene. This message will tell you that your account has been validated, or if there are issues with your registration.
Some people haven’t received this email, but don’t worry. You can simply wait a bit and try to sign back in. We only have three of us with the capability to approve incomers, so be patient, even we have to sleep sometime!
You’ll then be allowed to access the forums.
You must log in anytime you enter the forum. We ask you to please fill in your profile with the information you desire. A profile picture, either of yourself or otherwise something nice, can be uploaded and allows us to associate something to your posts besides a grey head. You can find your profile by clicking on your name in the top right corner.
From the profile page, there’s a bunch of personalization settings you can choose from the left-hand side bar there. Don’t miss this, as once these are set they’re automatic and you don’t have to do them again. This is an opportunity to make this house your own by setting how you wish to experience the forum.
We ask you to read our ‘Getting Started at Gaia Scene’ topic section for our guidelines, posting protocols and help. These guidelines have been the same basic ones since the inception of the previous forum, and have been the foundation of keeping the space safe and sacred. We do actively moderate according to our guidelines, so it’s a good idea to read them before interacting with us.
After registration and returning, please open a new topic in the link below and say hi to introduce yourself in the Welcome section: https://gaiascene.com/forum/3-namaste-to-new-members/.
The system won’t allow interaction in some of the forums until you have made a post in the welcoming area. A simple hi will suffice, but this is about getting to know one another too, so it’s up to you how much you want to share here.
When you click the title of the ‘Namaste to New Members’ topic, there’s a button to the right that says, “Start a New Topic’, click there, and put your username in the title please.
We want to welcome you with open arms, and we will. With love…
