Writing news commentary regarding military, politics, and finance (and the like) for the Golden Age of Gaia is not simple and easy. One might think so: Pick an article and give your impressions –easy peasy! I wish it were that simple, but it truly isn’t. It’s important to us here at GAoG that we find news that is not only accurate but reflects the changes that are occurring behind-the-scenes …which are not so readily reported through mainstream media.
Therein lies the challenge! We need to report on what’s accurate, do meticulous research to check its accuracy (which is most challenging to do), then find an authentic perspective we can expound upon that supports our mission. We no longer simply copy & paste an article from one news source to another …just transferring the story from one platform to ours. As such, we strive to bring cutting-edge, practical, and informative revelations to your fingertips. Enjoy….
Politics: WWIII has not begun.
While we typically offer news that has happened, I find this story just as pertinent telling us what has not happened! Revealing scandals and other corruption from around the world is just as crucial as blowing the whistle on phony news, such as the following:
“In a series of eerily-realistic tweets, The New York Post and United Press International (UPI) said an American aircraft carrier had been attacked by the Chinese military and the US Navy was ‘engaged in active combat’ with Chinese warships. One of the tweets was an image of Pope Francis supposedly announcing: ‘World War Three has begun.'” (1)
It has been confirmed that hackers worked their magic to gain access onto the feed of the NY Post and Tweeter and placed those phony stories, about WWIII beginning. In addition, Bank of America and the US military command was compromised (2).
“Six fake headlines were posted on its Twitter account and a breaking news banner was added to a fake story about the Federal Reserve on its homepage, the statement added. It comes just days after US President Barack Obama unveiled proposals to strengthen cyber security laws after a spate of attacks on high-profile US targets, including the Pentagon Twitter feed and Sony Pictures.” (2)
“The US Navy confirmed that the USS George Washington was undamaged and in port – contrary to the tweets saying it had been struck by a Chinese missile.” (1) So, what do you think? Is this North Korea (or someone else) just screwing around with us? Is this at all related to the Sony Hacks? Of course, I do not know the answer to these questions, but I certainly have my suspicions….

Religion: Pope Francis offers compassion when faced with a difficult question from a teenage girl
Boy I am definitely hitting All the hot topics today… such stories that emotionally trigger people, those in which people have very strong feelings about, including religion and the Pope. Remember, it’s not necessary to attack the messenger, because I am here simply to get us to think about things differently than the way we impulsively would, to get people to take a step back and instead of unconsciously reacting …rather to gain objective view before coming to quick judgement, to get us to recall that we are usually not privy to the background story or reasoning of “why” someone behaves the way they do. With this in mind, have compassion for this girl who questions the Pope and genuinely seeks guidance about why the world is out of balance.
Glyzelle Palomar, a one-time homeless child offered shelter by a church, told Pope Francis, “Many children are abandoned by their parents. Many children get involved in drugs and prostitution. Why does God allow these things to happen to us? The children are not guilty of anything.” She then wept profusely, which moved the Pontiff to give her a big hug.
The Pope then discarded his prepared speech and replied that we, as a global collective, must care and give more than superficial compassion. Further, people must learn to cry with those who are suffering and marginalized upon our world: “If Christ had that kind of compassion, he would have just walked by, greeted three people, given them something and moved on. (There are) certain realities in life, we only see through eyes that are cleansed with our tears.”

Social Equality: Has our behavior and biases changed much from when MLK was killed?
I clearly am finding the need to stick with news commentary today that elicits strong emotion …here we go! “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow, provincial ‘outside agitator’ idea. Anyone who lives inside the United States can never be considered an outsider.”
Thank you MLK for these wise words, and yet it’s incredibly discouraging to know that our society today has not changed much from societal ongoings of 50 years ago–boohoo! Injustice, scandals, corruption, racial prejudice …shall I continue? “No,” that’s enough to make my heart ache as it is, and yet his wisdom is timeless: “Whatever affects one directly …affects all indirectly.” We are all one, and some people don’t get it. They live in a world that continues with their facade of “us v. them.”
Psychologically, there’s a part of them that is not happy with themselves, and so they take it out on others whom they judge. And yet, the only way one can “see” judgements in others is by seeing it within themselves –often unbeknownst to them! In other words, we cannot identify with someone’s actions or traits unless we ourselves have those traits, or have committed those actions. Otherwise, what happens is that occasional statement of “I don’t get it,” when someone asks “D’ya know what I mean?”
Ya know what I mean? (wink wink). Ironically, those who judge others are only irritated by other’s actions/statements, because they themselves have said (or done) that very thing –and are now judging someone else for the same thing they once did (or still do). We people can sure be silly sometimes!
Racial prejudice is sad –sad in 1861, sad in 1963, ever-so sad in 2015. It matters not what our skin color is, but rather that we all bleed “red.” The sooner we realize and embody that we are all brothers and sisters –literally– the sooner we shall create Nova Earth. Don’t forget it: We are creators of our reality (always was, and always will be), and where there is prejudice …there is no love.
