Happy Saturday, dear friends. Most of you do not know that I am a certified night owl. Staying up to work in the silence and darkness of the night, with my family tucked safely in bed, is simply my way.
The other day, my daughter and I had to get up very early, and we sat in front of the television with our coffee. We could not believe the shows on the tube at that time of morning. Most were talk shows and they were talking about things that neither one of us cared about. We were amazed at the focus, even on our favorite cooking channel. We could not find a single thing to watch that resonated with us, so we turned off the television.
I don’t often watch TV, and I am not often up at that time of the morning, so it really isn’t a big deal. What I realized though, was the point that I live my life according to my own cycle, and during that cycle, things that resonate with me come into my sphere. When I get out of my cycle, nothing seems to resonate.
So, I am embracing my night owl-ness even more, and realizing that we each have a perfect path. When we walk that perfect path, all is well. When we force ourselves onto a different path, not so much. The more we accept our divine path and follow it, the more happy we will all be with life, in my estimation.

Signs that the engine of control is crumbling around the world.
There are many societal structures put into place to control the population of earth. Many of these structures have gone unheeded in past times. As more people wake up, they see them for what they are, and hope to eradicate them.
Many beings have come to terms with the idea, that fighting against the system produces a significant amount of push back. Putting energy into a system, continues to feed it, even if it is energy to create change. It has been my experience, that focusing on the new, while witnessing the crumbling of the old, from a neutral standpoint, has the strongest effect. When new, positive forms of being are created, the higher vibration will push all the old out of our frequency.
This article details a number of chinks in the armor of old societal control mechanisms. I am sure there are many other examples of decay, and I view them as steps in the right direction.
What is that up there by the sun?
This amateur video shows an interesting series of light streaks above the sun. They seem to be interacting with it like energy arcing off a Tesla-coil. The person doing the video even puts his hand in front of the camera to show that the interaction is not sometime on his camera lens.
My daughter mentioned to me the other day that the sun seems to have a different quality of light. This confirms my own experience, as it does seem brighter than I ever remember it as a child. I also note a much whiter quality to the light, which used to appear yellow or orange in nature. I think many people are noticing this change, and I wonder if it is simply an element of the higher vibrations we have entered.

What happens when a nursing home doctor will not take no for an answer?
When my girls were little, my grandmother was in a nursing home, and we would go in to visit her once a week. We also brought my parrots along to visit with some of the patients in the facility, and they simply adored looking at them and listening to them chatter.
This beautiful article is an extract from the book Being Mortal, by Atul Gawande. It tells the story of Bill Thomas and his miraculous menagerie. Bill was a very determined young doctor who worked in an upstate New York nursing home. He wanted to enhance the life experiences of his patients and he thought introducing animals to the facility would help.
The facility had certain rules in place, many based in the litigious nature of society. Those rules came into direct conflict with what Dr. Thomas wished to do. He decided to write up his plan anyway, along with the nursing home director, even if the plan was in conflict with the rules. What unfolded was simply beautiful, and ultimately provided a quality of life for his patients that was beyond everyone’s expectations.

Miraculous photography tree project.
I am a daughter of the tree tribe. I have always been in tune with nature generally, but I count the trees here in my space of love, among my best friends. Trees are gentle energetic beings who can form deep emotional bonds with the people who love them.
Beth Moon must feel the same way as I do about trees, because she spent over 14 years photographing the remaining ancient trees on earth. Her photography is simply breathtaking, and you can literally see the strength and divinity in these ancient beings, who have watched our world change over generations.

And finally…
More cute animal friendships.
This is a cute video of photographs of animal friendships. What I love about it the most, is the still photographs capture loving moments between these inter-species pairs, that really show their devotion to each other.
They have left behind the rules that say they should be enemies, or food for each other. They have left behind all the rules and instincts and simply embraced the love. Every single photo makes me smile, and I wanted to share it with all of you.
