Spiritwater Gardens is founded and owned by Elizabeth Patric. She focuses on the co-creation of combinations of individual flower essences with assistance and guidance from nature spirits, fairies, devas, and other non-physical beings of love and light frequencies.
The essences help with physical, mental, emotional, sexual, financial and spiritual healing, with transformational insights, brain and body, soul and spirit. Here is her latest newsletter:
This photo depicts an Aspen leaf that is fallen and clasped by the needles from a White Pine tree. For me this image evokes the cycle in our seasons, and in our own progressions in various facets of our lives, as the time of what appears to be, at least on the exterior, a letting go of life.
In nature at this time of year, lushness and bountiful harvest give way to a harsher environment where gathering of energies through resting in the ground as a seed, deepening our roots, or rejuvenation through hibernation become the best ways of being.
During the winter time, we have the greatest potential for spiritual growth.
In fact, I can say that all of my major spiritual experiences took place in the fall and winter seasons.
It is a time for increased introspection and inner revelation. If we use the analogy of the flower, then at this time of year, we are like the seed, gathering inward, inwardly dedicated and committed to our potential.
For us there is an increased time for introspection, inner vision and dream work, and wonderful revelations. Great births are being incubated and amplified in potency.
Often, this time of year brings out the opposite qualities of depression, hopelessness, despair, and feeling sorry for ourselves. A lot of this is a result of our conditioning and programming.
We have grown to think that we “should” be in a warm climate or that a lack of light results in our situation. Remember that your life is the result of your perceptions.
If you spend much of this precious time of year, waiting for the vacation that you will be taking in February, you can really miss out on some incredible spiritual growth.
When you feel any of the more negative qualities of depression or hopelessness coming up, it is important to give them a swift kick in the butt. (Our flower essence combination SOARING DOVE will clear this stuff!)
A flower is not depressed while exploring its interior!
This is a time for the flower to build its potential and there can be a great inner excitement and passion that will encompass you.
Choose to be this flourishing interior flower in your own life. It brings so much fulfillment. You can be saturated. Your cup will be overflowing. See how beautiful you can grow your interior flower.
Here is a poem illustrating this:
If you listen
not to the pages or preaches
but to the smallest flower
growing from a crack
in your heart, you will hear a great song
moving across a wide ocean
whose water is the music
connecting all the islands
of the universe together
and touching all
you will find it
touching you
around you
embracing you with light.
It is in that light
that everything lives
and will always be alive.
John Squadra, This Ecstasy
Breathtaking winter scenes like this have the power to evoke the vast potential within ourselves.
I was snowshoeing here last year and received a potent experience of infinite, universal expansion of my energetic totality.
Certain landscapes can bring out response through our sensory antenna and result in greater possibilities for our unlimited expansion into our fullness and complete expression.
High quality sensory input and spiritual growth are closely related. Many mystical experiences come from our interaction with nature.
Our flower essence combination WILDERNESS MYSTIC gives us a greater understanding of this process.
(One definition of a mystic, by the way, is someone who has moved from mere belief or belonging systems to actual inner experience).
Yes, it was 9 degrees below zero last night (and it isn’t officially even winter yet) and yes, winter’s jaws clamped down on northern Wisconsin extra early this year, and yes, I have had to dig out my long underwear and it isn’t even Christmas!
But no, I am not depressed, feeling hopeless or at all despairing that winter is here. Here are the components of my strategy that support me during the winter months. First and foremost, I take my flower essences every day.
Flowers hold so much light, and when you can hold your own inner light, there is less need to rely on sunlight. I can really tell the difference when I don’t take flower essences, even after just a couple of days. Also I am practically reverent about taking Vitamin D everyday for the winter season.
There is no way you can get enough sunlight in the northern climes, even if you are outside in the sun for an hour. The slant of the sun is just too low on the horizon. So don’t even think about trying to get your vitamin D that way if you live “up north” in the frozen tundra.
I have noticed that many people go through winter without having the right clothing. Pay out the $ you need to just one time, and you will have extremely warm clothing for years to come. Then enjoy the vast quiet with walks, snow shoes or cross country skis.
Take advantage of the fact that there are less exterior distractions. We do not have the feedback loops developed yet, to really take advantage of the interior contemplations that can lead to real revelation. The flower essence combination SEEK WITHIN will help you to relearn those precious golden threads of inner knowingness.
Very few of us grew up with Tibetan Lamas that hold that wisdom, instead turning on the TV or other distractions were part of our conditioning as children. Snuggle up in a warm blanket with a hot cup of tea, maybe close to the wood stove or fireplace and really dig deep into those spiritual books you have been waiting to read.
Accumulate a few projects that ignite your passion for learning. I have all kinds of different projects going, including writing a book, knitting, sewing something I have never sewed before (which ignites my interest in learning), and a pile of books I am excited about reading!
This is Yarrow and her service is divine guidance. She says that her essence is “complete attunement to the will of God.”
Yarrow shares that her presence will give “you the propensity to move in the direction of the strong willed powered by Creator. ”
She is a no nonsense essence and is good for those confused, undecided, compromised or afraid to take a stand.
This flower boldly (could it be anything but?) states that “there is no other flower that will align you more fully with the will of Creator, and not ever, even for a moment will you want to turn back to a lesser calling.”
This flower essence is found in our DIVINE GUIDANCE flower essence combination.
