Allow me to apologize for the site downtime. HostGator explains the outage this way:
“Our data center in Provo is currently experiencing network issues and they are working diligently to resolve the issue. Unfortunately we do not have an estimated time of resolution. This currently is affecting shared, reseller, VPS, and dedicated servers within that data center.”
If it goes again, just know that we probably do know it has happened and are working with HostGator to correct it. Thanks.
I’m going to try to take a few days off for a holiday. It may or it may not work out. But that’s my intention starting out. And I may post ahead.
One reader spent some time looking up Giacomond in a dictionary to see what I was meaning when I said that we’re becoming Giacomonds. I don’t think it’s to be found in a dictionary. Giacomond is a graphic done by artist Quint Buchholz.
If you look at Giacomond, he’s walking a tightrope which he himself is holding up – a physical impossibility but very suggestive spiritually. Physically we cannot hold up our own tightrope (and walk it). Spiritually we are of course our own support, given that at our essence we’re all God.
And the entire journey of life introduces us to greater and greater depths of creativity, on many of which we seem to create from nothing (though we’re really creating from the God – or perhaps the God-stuff – that we are).
So Giacomond for me suggests leaving the linear thinking of Third Dimensionality and taking up the mysterious creative powers of the higher dimensions which give rise to situations that cannot be explained within the old paradigm but which will some day be at the heart of our way of life.
