This week on An Hour with an Angel responds to a suggestion made by Archangel Michael himself in a personal reading I had with him recently. I asked him what he’d like to discuss on the show and he said he’d like to discuss vasanas and the constructed self. Once I recovered from my surprise, I became quite eager to hear how he would explain the subject.
What are vasanas? Well something happened to us long ago, as Linda Steiner explained recently on the blog, and we were tremendously affected. We concluded that life was a certain way and we had to do certain things to protect ourselves. The twig was bent and the tree inclined that way.

The constructed self is all the lines and poses and self-images we decided upon to put in place of ourselves so that we had the best possible chance of avoiding the same situation again.
So now we become a series of set lines and scripts, a number of favorite poses and winning numbers, all designed to get us through life, but very little spontaneity, authenticity or aliveness.
Vasanas are the chief trouble-maker in life. When the Company of Heaven tells us we have to come out of our issues, drop our old baggage, etc., they are talking about completing our vasanas and emerging from the constructed self.
So here we have an archangel willing to give his views of this graveyard of the dinosaurs, which we, in our ever-unfolding Ascension finery, are set to escape from.
AAM has said that he may cover the topic in one show or he may give two shows to it. So join us for a discussion of our escape from the real hell of our lives: our vasanas and inauthentic self.
