Folks are saying they notice a change in me.
As my net nanny says so eloquently: “Well, duhhhh!”
I have stepped out of my constructed self. This is what happens.
The water’s warm. I invite everyone in. This swimming pool is infinitely expandable.
Next time your ego wants to run an act, number, or routine, stamp your foot and tell it “No!” and, if you say it loud enough and mean it, that Oilcan Harry might just hightail it down the tracks.
This is life outside the constructed self: normal, happy, carefree, light. OK, OK, not always normal, happy, carefree, light. We still have vasanas and even big ones and they can still go off.
But, apart from turning periodically into a super-caldera, life is pretty good. And the grass does regrow.
So this is what’s available. Yes, it takes awareness and intention. But it’s getting easier.
