Folks, I have three requests to make, if you’ll allow me.
First, I have to acknowledge that I’ve reached the end of my ability to maintain the First Contact website on a daily basis.
I’ve been kidding myself that I could keep going and now the moment of truth has arrived.
That website, http://www.angelfire.com/space2/light11/fc/fc-index1.html, is the source of all the researched articles I do.
The time has come to seek a partner, who may himself or herself go on to recruit a team, to keep the database up to date.
I’m seeking, for the moment, one person who wishes to volunteer to manage the database, who would have some background in history, political science, international affairs, and/or spirituality, as well as the themes we examine on this site.
They’ll need to know how to write in html and how to operate the back end of a website.
They’ll need to be open and sensitive to a really large range of subjects, from the purpose of life to terraforming, from life after death to life on Sirius, to know what to include in the database.
And they’ll need to come up with appropriate organizational and team arrangements to divide the work for a team, supervise it, and keep the ball rolling.
Soon enough, journalists, historians, legal experts, government administrators, economists and many, many others will rely on that database or others like it to bring themselves up to speed and launch out into new directions that are sympatico with the world’s new directions.
The most important quality to successfully do this job is maturity. The person who volunteers will need to have mastered the ego to the extent that they’re detached from wanting the usual rewards we get from work and attached to serving the Divine.
The people on the Nova Earth teams generally are able to work without needing a great deal of input or supervision and show a high level of maturity. All of us are operating at the outer edge of busy-ness and people who themselves don’t find this a do-able arrangement are generally not satisfied for long and drift away.
But the other side of the coin is we’re all of us able took at each other (on Skype) and know we’re among a team of high performers, social leaders, and loving beings. Who else would you want to work with? And we’re just one team like that. The same could be said for HopeGirl’s projects, Sue Lie’s, Mike Quinsey’s, Suzy Ward’s, etc.
I have two other requests.
The first is for someone who can help me set up Google Hangouts for the Nova Earth team to use as a replacement for Skype. Skype breaks down too often and we need a stable and simple replacement for it. Google Hangouts looks great but it’s very complicated to figure out. Any help setting it up would be appreciated.
The second is for someone who knows how to take raw .mov (Quick Time or Mac) video files and turn them into videos. I just made my first video and haven’t a clue what to do with it. What do I do now? Eeeek!
Doing things like making videos is not about me. It isn’t a case of wanting to make a video because Steve Beckow wants to say: “Oh, what a good boy am I!” Videos are made to serve the Divine Plan. So you’re not somehow helping to assist Steve to gain star status or live in a rich mansion in Malibu. I’m not in the slightest interested in either. You’re working to further the plan of the Company of Heaven, as far as we can make it out.
Do drop a line through “Contact Us” if you’re willing to assist with any of these three projects.
