Well, now that we’ve reached a pinnacle of enjoyment and appreciation for Gaia and ourselves, now that we’ve called out for equality and sovereignty for all, via Nova Earth Day, One Billion Rising or whatever your February 14 may have seen, what’s next? Where do we go from here?
Perhaps Archangel Michael furnishes us with a clue.
I asked him recently in a personal reading through Linda Dillon (1) what he wished us on the blog to do at this moment in time and he replied that he wanted us to speak “about building, constructing Nova Earth, cities of light, cities of love, all of this is important. … What you are doing [now] is building, as you have said many times, a world that works.”
But at the same time, he asked that we “not assume — because it is a complete error — that Ascension is on hold because that is important for each of you to understand, that it is well underway and in process. The outcome, part of the process of Ascension, is the creation and co-creation of Nova Earth.”
He added that we were all moving ahead quite rapidly: “Do you know how quickly you have been expanding? … You have been growing and moving and growing and moving.”
Let’s pause a minute and put these pieces together.
It’s well known in spiritual circles that there are certain times when seekers after enlightenment need to be solitary and focused on quiet and inward practice and certain times when they need to be social and focused on interconnection and external work.
During the period before 21/12/12, we lightworkers were focused on internal cleansing and completion of our old business.
But now in the time after 21/12/12, though Ascension is still underway and in process as he tells us, we’re being encouraged more and more to come together in the common task of building Nova Earth. We’re in a different phase now and the reason for it may be helped by looking at a certain feature of the animal kingdom.
Many animals moult their skin and shells. Snakes, lobsters, crabs, even spiders regularly moult. It can be necessary to work one’s way out of the skin or shell. Some animals push themselves against rocks or tree branches lying on the ground. The friction helps them escape the old.
I believe we too are moulting our skin. And I think we’ve reached the point where a certain amount of friction is a good thing. We need something to bump up against to shed the old skin of our belief systems and unworkable ways of being in this phase of Ascension.
I think of this as “emergence” – but not just emergence as individuals from our personal patterns of suppression and unworkability, but emergence as a society from our conditioned patterns of suppression and unworkability. (1)
Coming together to build Nova Earth, joining in the discussion, staging webinars, conferences, demonstrations, flash mobs and all the other ways in which we join together to birth the new world is, I think, part of moulting our old skins and shells and emerging into our newly-expanded selves. We jostle each other, put forward new ideas, compare notes, and argue over practicalities, and all of this is like a snake dragging itself over rough ground or a lobster rubbing against a rock. We’re shedding the old to emerge in the expanded and softer skin of the new.
So, yes, we’re building Nova Earth but, yes, at the same we’re still ascending. But this phase of Ascension is more social, interactive, and communicative. We come out of our shells together, jostling each other and laughing and embracing is part of the overall process and the part that’s wanted and needed at this stage of Ascension.
Having done all our inner work before 21/12/12, we now give one more final push and emerge. We brush up against each other and in the foment and dislocation, rub off our old skins. And test out our new muscles and more flexible bodies. We’re indeed several billion rising together – uprising, unfolding and opening to the warmer sun and gentle love breezes that are sweeping the planet and enlivening us all.
