Group Interactions, Discernment, and Moving into Greater Unity
When I read the messages that are offered and discussed in Lightworker circles, what I notice again and again are the invitations to move out of the realm of mental constructs, take our energies from past and future, and bring our attention to now, gratitude, and joy.
The invitations are to move with love, into the heart space, where there is an access to truth and higher intelligence, where the polarity offered by the brain and mind is not present. The heart space offers balance instead of polarity, and within this space is access to knowingness.
It’s interesting how little this heart space is discussed by those who are expressing the shadow side of our group consciousness. If it’s discussed at all, there’s a call out for ‘just how am I supposed to do get into my heart with this and that and the other thing happening?’ Or, in other words, a collapse back into justifications, excuses, and blame.
Have these same people gone deep into their hearts for the answers to their quandary? Only they know, but I wonder why they continue to visit our forums if they’ve discerned that what we share is all a bunch of lies, and that we’re harming everyone by offering a false hope, like some of them have been saying all along. There’s no harm possible, since I’m responsible for myself and for my own experiences.
I’d like to point out something to consider about our group dynamic. I see this same personal and group shadow principle of broken trust as one of our biggest weaknesses. It represents an imbalance we have from those of us who aren’t centered in the only place capable of being outside polarity and separation – the human heart – those of us who are still placing blame instead of embracing personal responsibility.
These are positions which are only possible when centering our consciousness outside the heart, and they aren’t coming from Love. They’re coming from fear, no matter how cleverly they’ve disguised it as intelligence and a viable way to know the truth.
The challenge of taking our great diversity and bringing it into unity is at its weakest point right here as well, as it’s through the heart that we’re all connected. This is how we connect to each other, to Source and everything that emanates from Source, to truth, and to our Oneness.
Since we’re all in the process of learning here, and there are none of us who aren’t, I’m not judging anyone. We’re in a process, both individually and in a group, of spiraling out of deep unconsciousness into wakeful awareness.
I’d only like to draw attention to the fact that anyone who might want to enter into our group conversations and create division and chaos can do so very easily by pressing right on this spot of imbalance, this place of having no discernment, and having no personal access to knowing. Here’s where we buy into disinformation, and are willing to accept cleverly-phrased critiques as intelligent ways to know something.
These are the places where I observe that we aren’t owning our own consciousness, and in not taking personal responsibility, letting others own it for us. Therefore we aren’t balanced enough to look at these attempts to topple us into an abyss through placing blame, and criticism, never offering to solve anything, and to see them for what they are.
How simple it is to eat up our energy with this same old shtick. This is energy that could be better put to moving away from what doesn’t work and never has, energy that could be used, as a group, to finally move into the places where co-creation of something other than being victims and being confused over whom to follow is possible.
In this process, if we sometimes fall short of our ideals, the foundation of personal responsibility brings us back to our center and out of confusion. Observing and acting from the balanced place of the heart makes it possible to regroup quickly from errors and go on again with compassion.
Staying out of judgment is so much easier when we know that we’re responsible. It’s not possible to continue to be a victim from this space. When we’re responsible, we can make change happen, from whatever place we’re in, and not until then.
While I have great compassion for those who are having difficulties moving into their hearts and out of the mental constructs and looping polarities, I can’t do this for them. I’m also unwilling to sit with them while they’re “in it.” This is the time to move into the New Age and shed the old ways of victimization and disempowment.
In order to bring in the New World that’s in the process of birthing, we need all the spiritual adults among us to stand up and step forward now. This seems to me to be the time, if ever there was one, to call out our highest level of maturity, find our personal balance, authenticity and truth, and stand in it. We need to bring all our hearts and our compassion too into this world with all our might to do what we’ve set out to do.
