Half the purpose of the fund-raiser is to provide sustainability and continuity for the total group of teams that produce the blog, radio shows, Hope Chest and Pre-NESARA effort.
These teams are committed to building Nova Earth. They’ve given up thoughts of careers, wealth and “security” to serve the Light.
The other half is to renew our ability to assist lightworkers in distress by replenishing the Hope Chest.
It’s this second half that’s most impactful on the teams themselves, as far as I can see. Whereas in the past, the work of the Hope Chest was pretty much a two-person effort – Dave doing the administering and Karen doing the bookkeeping – as the need for the Hope Chest grows, it’s become a much broader effort.
And that means that more people are reading the letters coming in, more are on the conference calls sharing and discussing how we’ll handle this much more extensive effort, and more of us are sharing among ourselves in our personal Skype calls and asking what can be done?
A lot is coming up for us. One cannot encounter distress on the scale that we lightworkers are experiencing at this time without feeling affected. Why do I say “we lightworkers” instead of society generally? Obviously our constituency is lightworkers, but lightworkers are also like the canary in the mine shaft because many have chosen not to engage with the economy as it’s presently set up. And all of us serve the Light instead of our self and our own wants and needs.
Most of us turn aside from high-paying jobs to be available to that Light service. That’s why so many of us are in distress at the moment. And many of us are willing to put up with little to continue serving the Light. And so we experience more need than many people who pursue careers, etc.
And many of us have had our hearts opened because we’re willing to see what’s going on the world. We don’t wear a “cloak of denial,” as the Arcturians called it. (1) We don’t turn aside and escape into fantasies or sports events or vacations. We do keep our vision on what it is that keeps our world from working.
And we actually are willing to work to have our world work, instead of seeking wealth or whatever else we might do if we could turn aside from the world’s suffering.
Many of us on the team are asking ourselves what can be done in a more extensive and thorough-going way? Our efforts here will raise an amount that can be sent out to people in distress, but that will only see to this month’s bills or feed a person for a month. Oh, yes, it will give a message of hope. It will say: “We care about you.” But our ability to translate that caring into help is limited.
What happens after that? Granted that NESARA will come, how do we see to the period between now and then?
We don’t have a lot of answers. And the deeper we go into the work, the more impactful it is and the more we see how few answers we have.
I imagine many people who’ve grappled with the question of how to help the percentage of the population that cannot even put food on the table have run up against the frustration we feel. NESARA is designed to end this situation, but we wait and wait for that program to begin and meanwhile face the situation of needing to see to people now.
It’s our plan at this moment to begin tomorrow sending out what we’ve received. And then, very quickly perhaps, that may be gone given the long lists of people requesting help.
B will be able to pay his electricity bill and the man who sits in his winter coat because he has no heat (have not been able to find that email again) may have heat, if he isn’t already homeless. We really aren’t equipped at this time to take more sustaining steps than to send out an initial amount. It’s still at this moment a one-shot thing and we realize the inadequacy of that. But we also don’t know what else to do.
I don’t know what the answer is. I’m just sharing what’s coming up for us as we survey the need, a new team having taken over from Dave who had been bearing the full weight of it up till now. (Dave has moved down to Sedona and has taken up new challenges in his service to the Light. Notice that it takes a whole team to do the work that Dave did.)
At this moment, my heart is heavy.
One has to be willing to go through this time of heaviness of heart to encounter the situation as it is. Many of us may not willing to go through the pain in order to know what is truly happening in our society.
Removing our “cloak of denial” is hard. Looking upon the truth is hard. Accepting that it could be a long road to the economy of abundance which will erase this situation is hard. And yet being willing to start in and not give up is what’s wanted and needed.
Only the fact that looking upon all this brings forth in its train the love, the universal love, and the courage to act without knowing the extent of good it brings makes the process bearable. Serving the Light has never been easy. But serving only one’s self in these heightened vibrations is becoming less and less an option..

“Those of you who have been awake to the Truth for the last decades of extreme darkness, sought solace in your outer world because when you went inside to view life you found fear and darkness. Hence, you often focused on your outer life of finding good jobs, nice houses and lot of toys to distract you from the fear you found within.
