- The issue was caused by Yahoo automated spam filters
- It primarily affected people with Yahoo email addresses
- You can try re-subscribing, but it could happen again
- Please consider using a non-Yahoo email address so this doesn’t happen again
Meanwhile Casey is looking for a Daily Digest vehicle other than Feedblitz. We’ll have more on that soon. We’ll try to choose the avenue that causes the least inconvenience, but some inconvenience may result. (See also Jennifer’s note below.)
Jennifer has this advice to people whose subscriptions were disturbed by Feedblitz:
“I was one of those 500+ people dropped by Feedblitz. For 2 days I did not receive my daily email, so I logged in to Feedblitz (we are all given a username and password) and resubscribed from there.
It may NOT work, to resubscribe from the Website. I didn’t do it that way, but it’s possible that people may get an error message that they are already subscribed.
Just to be completely clear, when I reached the Feedblitz page where it showed all of my active subscriptions (there was only one…), even though the radial was already filled with a dot for The2012Scenario, I re-clicked it ANYWAY, just to be sure.
“I’m sending this because – You may want to suggest to people to log in to Feedblitz and re-click the radial for their subscription, rather than resubscribe from the Website.”
