Wow, am I ever energized to hear that you want me to ask Jesus about the Biblical mysteries. Me too. I’m working away on the questions now. I’m going to close comments now because it’s just too busy for me to be coming back and forth to read them. But I do appreciate what you’ve told me so far.
What I intend to do is have Jesus back, in a short while, and ask him about his life in a future interview.
Now I have to admit I’m waffling. As I prepare my questions, I see I have two separate hour-long shows and I’m thinking I might have Jesus back in January, if he wishes, to answer the second set of questions.
The first is on the Biblical mysteries – like the nature of the Trinity, what “only begotten son” means, who “the Word” is, what he meant by “I am the Truth, the Way and the Life,” etc.
The second set of questions is on how much of what the Bible says of his life is true.
Given that this is the last program before Christmas, I’m gravitating towards asking him the first set of questions now and the second set later.
Who ever thought they’d have a chance to ask Jesus questions? My mind-cup runneth over.
Of course if no one is interested in hearing the answers to the first set of questions, I can ask them privately and substitute for the first show a look at Christianity, modern-day Christmas, the perfect human, what Jesus tried to model, etc. What do you think? (I’ll leave comments open.)
This post has two elements. I’ll be locating the audio file and transcript for An Hour with an Angel here, which this Monday features Jesus of Nazareth. I’ll be discussing predominantly the events of his life in an attempt to see what is fact and what is fiction.
But here as well is a tape that Linda Dillon has produced of her Saturday conference call, this one from Dec. 17, 2011, which featured Jesus as well. If you go to the 41 min. mark, Jesus answers the question, “How do I ascend?” I’d welcome anyone who wishes doing a transcript of this part of the reading.

So just to be very clear: the radio show would be on his life and the tape above is on Ascension.
Given that Jesus has answered that question, here, I won’t be looking at Ascension on the Monday night show. So here is the “lecture” part of this two-part message from Jesus.
The historical part, to be covered on Monday’s show will be featured below as soon as I receive it.
