This is a most remarkable news clip and may shows just how far we have come. Here is Willie Zeist of Zeitgeist, MSNBC, upbraiding President Obama for saying that UFOs do not exist. Now let’s just see here…. A news station is taking issue with the President saying there are no UFOs. Where and on what world have you seen that before?

Not only that, but Zeist plays some video from a ways back in support of his contention that UFOs do exist. He cites the Washington flyover in the 1950s, another incident at Washington Airport, and the Roswell incident (be still my beating heart), in his defence of UFOs. OK, you must admit that that is a huge turnabout and a milestone in broadcasting history as far as our interests go.
Whatever is happening here represents a complete turnabout from earlier years and is at least some small comfort to those who are sad that the President did not take the chance to recognize the reality of other civilizations being here around Earth.
PS. UFO Digest published my “Open Letter to the President,” at http://tinyurl.com/72t5ko9 . Publication of it isn’t of interest unto itself, but shows that the President’s decision is being opposed. I also know the President’s reason, so his decision does not alienate me. It is simply one of his decisions that I don’t go along with. I’m sure there are probably many – the Osama bin Laden mission being another obvious one. But it doesn’t lose him my support.
