I have video of the area around the crater by a youtuber who recorded the skies etc… waiting for permission to upload from the user..330am CDT 7/24/2011– awaiting a reply…
the video shows thick gray mass of low lying cloud … not smog.. enough that you CANNOT SEE the mountains .. only the ground off to the foothills. Will have to wait and see if footage emerges tomorrow.
For sure it was NOT a plane crash. Also for sure it was not a large wildfire (you cannot see the HUGE Eagle wildfire to the southwest, so this rules out any kind of “fire”… therefore .. it was some kind of “plume” from a full on set of craters and lava fields.
This means the plume was some kind of VERY LARGE RARE geyser event, or some kind of volcanic ash event (same thing basically).
Some have said this might be “smog” or a “storm blowing up”.. well.. its NOT smog, we can for sure rule that one out, and its NOT a storm.. check cloud cover satellite view to prove this, all links are below.
Pisgah Volcano, near Barstow, California. Found it on the EYX (edwards AFB california nexrad RADAR… station EYX)
