An excerpt from a discussion of how we as terrestrials can make a difference in the world.
* * *
Do you recall when Blossom said after Oct. 14, 2008 (paraphrase): “Ok, so they’re not coming. So they didn’t show up. Let’s show them we can do it ourselves. We can.”
Indeed we can – indeed we must – act to the extent of our abilities, vision, etc. We must for ourselves, for our children, for the Earth, and for unknown others whom we’ll benefit in the future by the skills we learn. And since we’re already immortal, and know that death is nothing to fear, we can step out in ways that some of our ancestors might recoil from. There is no force that can stop us, but I mean that in a spiritual sense and not in a physical or 3D sense.
I could have a conversation with you [speaking to the person responsed to] about whether the galactics ever intended to disable the cabal, whether the cavalry is coming, etc., but I don’t get that that’s the meat of what you’re communicating. My best contribution to the discussion you’ve initiated may be to describe the stages of appropriate and efficient action to encourage you and others to begin your mission.
Many of us are seeking ways to make a difference in the situation we face. What are the steps by which appropriate and efficient action is taken? Let me offer this view of them and by all means tear it apart, reconstruct it and supply whatever I’ve overlooked. I’d just like to begin the conversation.
Before I do that, let me suggest why I use the words “appropriate” and “efficient.” Why “appropriate”? Because they embed us in action that aligns with what we want, hunger, yearn, or pine to do in life. Why “efficient”? Because doing them shows up, in the last analysis, to be exactly what we’d want to be doing in life anyways. Thus there’s no resistance and action does not seem like work. Where there’s no resistance to acting, we stand the best chance of succeeding at what we turn our hands to.
There are several stages to appropriate and efficient action in a situation such as we terrestrials face at this time. They are, in my opinion, these:
* * *
Awakening to the Problem
We come alive to the problem. What was unseen before is now seen. We recognize the contours of the problem, the problem’s impacts, the future, and the need to act. If we stop at simple awakening, then we are left asking questions like, “Why doesn’t X do Y?”
Ownership of the Problem
What is missing is “ownership” of the problem. It is not yet my problem. It is society’s problem. It is my neighbor’s problem. It is the nation’s problem. It is everyone’s problem but mine. The next step to taking appropriate and efficient action is to take the problem into our own being and make it our own.
This is my world and, in my world, something is not working and that something is this. If we stop here, we are left with statements like “I can’t stand X.” “I’m sick of Y.’
Ownership of the Solution
To move further towards appropriate and efficient action, we need to also own the solution. “What needs to be done is Z and I’m the person to do it.” The arrival at a solution comes after owning the problem and sitting with it until the solution manifests itself or is supplied to us by our guides. If we stop here, the statements we are left with are “One person cannot address this problem” or “what can one person do?”
Formulation of the Action
Once we’ve owned the problem and the solution, then we need to formulate our own action, approach, boundaries, etc. In my case in 2007, having already seen that a cabal controlled the world, I then became aware of the presence of the galactics and their mission. I resolved to do what I so often do when I encounter a situation such as I had awakened to and taken on personally: I began to create a database of quotations (First Contact– see footnote 1) to find out what was happening. As a writer,creating a database was my formulation of the first step towards solving the problem of gaining release from the grip of the cabal.
An example of formulation which was not appropriate or efficient occurred on two occasions when I decided to create “World Disclosure Day” and “World Freedom Day.” My formulation was inappropriate and inefficient. I’m a writer. But within days of formulating and putting out the two “Days,” I was buried in administration. I changed from being a writer, which I love being, to being an administrator, which I don’t love being. Email flowed in from around the world. I was swamped by the response. Instead of being a blue-sky thinker and dreamer, I was now an answerer of emails and a coordinator of a world event.
My foot was nailed to the ground. I could only repeat over and over again one idea – either world disclosure or world freedom. Same conversation, different person, until I was ready to drop.
And so the work became an uphill battle and eventually I dropped both and resolved not to do that kind of work again. Fortunately Spirit has moved Stephen Bassett to take up World Disclosure Day and I need never run that kind of a project again.
So formulation of an appropriate role may take some time, and may involve some hits and misses, but eventually we arrive at a formulation of the action we want to take and the role we want to play that captures our wishes and orientation. We’ve now carved off a piece of the world’s unworkability and take it on as our mission or task in life.
Initiation of the Action
Having reached a formulation of our chosen role, we begin. In the beginning we make all kinds of mistakes in including within our formulation matters that we later find are peripheral to success or we don’t want to do. Having begun the 2012 Scenario, I found myself tied down monitoring and answering comments. But that was no different than with the two “Days.” My job was not to answer questions. It’s to write. So I turned off the “comments” switch and aligned more with my core competencies and intentions.
Achievement of Momentum
We pick up speed in our chosen task, deal with situations such as increase in scale, absorbing and integrating new technologies, dealing with new tasks brought on by the success of our efforts, and keeping our forward motion going. We begin to flow and what seemed like work before now becomes effortless. We hit our stride and begin to have an impact in our chosen field. We hook up with others in tangential areas and begin to do our work as a functioning unit.
We constantly disengage from activities that appear peripheral or counterproductive and realign with our core mission. We check continuously to see that we’re doing what we love and heading in the direction we feel the need to go in. Our ship is now under full steam and we are making a difference in our chosen field.
* * *
These then are what I consider to be the stages of appropriate and efficient action.
We have to trust that each of us is here to do some certain thing. If each of us follows our bliss or does what we love, we must trust that the whole will also get done by people also following their bliss. Given that we’ve seen how much planning has gone into the whole Ascension effort, I suggest that it isn’t too far-fetched to suggest that each of us is here too with an assigned role in what’s transpiring. If you want to find your role, just look at what you love to do.
Finally, what is there to do? Simple. All work addresses unworkability. Just take a look at what is not working and, by your actions, make it work. How to spot what that may be? Listen to yourself say, “Why doesn’t X do Y?” No, why don’t you do Y. If you have the eyes to see what isn’t working and the concern to report it, consider that the very thing you see may be what you’re here to transform from a condition of unworkability to one of workability.
We lightworkers are not like a regular army. A regular army takes orders and works like a unit. We do that which our inner self cries out for us to do. No one orders us. And we may or may not operate like a unit.
The harvest is great and the laborers are few. Whether or not the galactics came here to rescue us or merely inspire us, our efforts are an integral part of what’s happening.
Walk yourself through these steps to appropriate and efficient action and see what it is you hunger to do. Make it do-able by you and then start in. As was said here, whether the galactics came here to rescue us or simply help us get moving, we can do this if each one finds and sets in to do that work which he or she came here to do.
