Eisenhower’s Rocket to Mars: ‘Secret’ Martian Colony Mission Revealed; former CIA ‘UFO’ scientist cited
From the Moon to Mars, and beyond, Laura Eisenhower’s ‘Agent X’ reveals a plan to colonize the Red Planet. And yes, this is a true story.

(STARpod.org) — Imagine this: The daughter of a key Obama energy consultant — who also happens to be the great-granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower — claims to have been the unwitting target of a black-ops interplanetary society, covertly run by spooky men with known connections to the US Central Intelligence Agency.
This is not the premise for a new TV series to replace ABC TV’s ‘Lost’ or ‘V’ — this is a true story. And a good deal of what is known about this misadventure was not sourced from the admittedly far-flung testimony of Laura Bradshaw Eisenhower Mahon — the daughter of nuclear energy consultant Susan Eisenhower — but from direct contact with key players in the affair, by the author of this article.
(For purposes of simplicity, I will refer to Susan Eisenhower’s daughter — Laura Bradshaw Eisenhower Mahon — as Laura Eisenhower.)
In a display of cosmic coincidence run wild, the real story behind the tale includes threads of high strangeness connecting a ‘secret’ Mars Mission to America’s intelligence agencies and their secretive fascination with the paranormal.
It appears that Space Travel, Nuclear Energy, and Travel to the Red Planet are a common theme surrounding the Eisenhower family.
US government consultant Susan Eisenhower’s former husband andbusiness partner is physicist Roald Sagdeev, a key Russian scientist who once worked on Mars missions for the Soviet Union. The man her daughter Laura introduced to her in 2006, Richard Dell Jr., is currently pursuing nuclear rocket technology with Dr. George H. Miley, of the University of Illinois Urbana.
Richard Dell Jr.’s stated goal: leverage private investment to build a colony of human explorers on Mars, by developing Miley’s nuclear rocket engines.
Dr. Miley has a long history of nuclear rocket concept development, including a paper coauthored with Franklin Meade of the Air Force Research Laboratory on advanced Air Force military space planes. In a 2006 paper published by STAIF — the Space Technology and Applications International Forum (alleged to have been the target of another recruitment effort by US military intelligence) — Meade, Miley, and their associates presented a concept for a reusable single-stage-to-orbit vehicle, comparable in scale to present day Air Force fighter jets. The proposed craft sounded like something from Star Wars: According to the proposal, such a space fighter would be armed with beam weapons and capable of operating in near-Earth space, or beyond.
A few years after the Miley USAF spaceplane proposal, Susan Eisenhower, the nuclear consultant, abandoned the Republican party to endorse Barack Obama’s presidential aspirations.
Writing for The National Interest, Eisenhower explained, “I have decided I can no longer be a registered Republican…This was not an endorsement of the Democratic platform, nor was it a slap in the face to the Republican Party. It was an expression of support specifically for Senator Barack Obama…The energy, health-care and financial crises threaten our national prosperity and well-being, just as surely as any confrontation overseas or an attack by radical terrorists.”
Susan Eisenhower, who once sat on a NASA advisory council, is a strong proponent of the advantages of nuclear energy. Following her shift to Obama’s campaign, and his subsequent election as President of the United States, Eisenhower was appointed to Obama Energy Secretary Steven Chu’s Blue Ribbon Commission on America’s Nuclear Energy Future. In addition to her consulting for the Obama Administration, Susan Eisenhower provides input to numerous advisory boards, including the the Air Force Academy’s Eisenhower center for Space and Defense Studies.
With all of the ingredients ripe for the mix, and given recent revelations of Russian spies and Chinese cyber threats, one might (reasonably?) inquire about the Eisenhower connection to US national security interests.
The FBI recently busted a Russian spy net operating inside of the United States. The arrests took place even as President Obama was engaged in “burger diplomacy” with Russian President Medvedev, who had been photographed shaking hands with Susan Eisenhower during a government sanctioned meeting in Moscow.
As for their mission, according to the official indictment, the Russian spies had been directed by Moscow, “to become sufficiently ‘Americanized’ such that they can gather information about the United States for Russia, and can successfully recruit sources who are in, or are able to infiltrate United States policy-making circles.”
Persons of interest to Russian and Chinese intelligence, one might infer, would include Obama’s energy policy advisors, like Susan Eisenhower.
In the information age, a glamorous spy can quickly make the transition to Internet superstar. Anna Chapman, the Russian spy sent to live in the US on a mission to elicit information from persons of interest to the Russian government, is now an international celebrity.
It was not the sultry red-headed Chapman, but another sexy red-headed female investigator, Caryn Anscomb, who managed to elicit insider information about America’s far-out military-related science. And during her investigation in 2006 and 2007, Anscomb acted as a key source for STARstream Research, as she met with several persons known for their connections to the American CIA and their interest in far-out science.
The latest installment in this developing tale of alleged spies, lies, and the Internet, begins with real-world revelations from a recent interview with Richard Dell Jr.
In an interview attributed to journalist Sander Olson, which has been posted on the Internet and discussed ad nauseum at various web sites, Dell explains how he was introduced to nuclear rocketman George Miley.
“Several years back I was a Program Manager for a small, family owned company. While I worked there I became very interested in developing an Advanced Aerospace Research Center and began to make contact with a variety of physicists, technologists and foundations. The Arlington Institute and the Institute for Advanced Studies in Austin introduced me to Dr. Miley, about four years ago this March. I am truly grateful to the principals of both of these Institutes and I confess that I owe them a debt of gratitude more than I could possibly ever repay.”
The Institute for Advanced Studies in Austin, it should be noted, is the research center for Dr. Harold Puthoff, who, once upon a time, headed the US government’s investigation of the applied use of paranormal phenomena for intelligence collection — as evidenced by declassified official records released by the CIA in 2004.
The Arlington Institute, home of futurist John L. Petersen, has been long-associated with rumors of high-level government officials discussing extraterrestrial visitors. According to STAR GATE files released by the CIA, Petersen was instrumental in bringing the once-secret American psychic spy program run by General Clapper at the Defense Intelligence Agency to the attention of the Undersecretary of Defense.
Dell continues, in futurist mode, by telling Olson of his vision for a manned mission to Mars:
“By 2020, we could be actively implementing commercial settlement and/or tourist expeditions to Mars.”
In 2010, a friend of Susan Eisenhower’s daughter Laura — Ivy Linn, using the pseudonym “Ki’ Lia” — nudged Laura into the spotlight when she published outrageous claims of a secret Mars colony on the Internet.
Ivy Linn told the story of how she had first met a man she identified as “Agent X” (who was later revealed to be Richard Dell Jr., following a scathing response against Eisenhower issued by Dell and widely distributed on the Internet).
“In the spring of 2006 in Washington DC, I met her [Laura] and her new romantic partner, who I will call Agent X. He claimed to know himself archetypally as Joseph of Arimathea/Osiris/Orion — [Dell’s email address, as found in the George Miley nuclear rocket presentation from 2009, includes “Arimathea”] — and affiliated with different, interlinked secret societies, e.g. Knights Templar and Freemasons. Agent X revealed that his group had identified her [Laura Eisenhower] through her bloodline, as the matrilineal great-granddaughter of 34th U.S. President Eisenhower…Meeting Agent X for the first time, he gave me much confidential and startling Intel about what he and his group knew…Agent X discussed his brilliant vision for a new space initiative – an awe-inspiring plan to explore the next frontiers of space in service to mankind’s unity and consciousness expansion. His plan included: 1) a colonization mission to Mars or Moon as a commercial-government-academic partnership, and 2) a separate, firewalled academy to train new explorers in multidimensional living and prepare the public for First Contact with ETs.”
Linn continued:
“Agent X assembled a core team involving a recognized chief scientist and proposed a board of directors involving the most renowned futurists, astronauts and space entrepreneurs, who were all affiliated or already working with his circle. He also was conversing with a state senator and suggesting that the Air Force could be shuffling tens of thousands for this project. Under high confidentiality, I would receive many project emails and occasional phone updates about team meetings and business plans.”
Linn produced a laundry list of Dell’s alleged interests, including exotic propulsion, spacetime warp drive, plasma ion fusion rocket engines, artificial intelligence, advanced communications, virtual reality, psychotronic (paranormal) weapons, invisibility, and other potential technologies.
During his farewell address of 1961, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who had commanded US forces during World War II, warned of an impending darkness born from the bowels of military technology.
“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals so that security and liberty may prosper together.”
Echoing the words of her great-grandfather, President Eisenhower, Laura, having been freed by Ivy Linn’s expose’ to express her own version of events, wrote:
“Our current reality is not fully running on the creative power of each individual or our freedom and divinity — that part of us is somewhat sabotaged in exchange for a fear producing world filled with misuses of power, suffering, environmental degradation, Natural Disasters and neglect of those who are in great need.”
Most who had read the accounts by Ivy Linn, writing as Ki’ Lia, and of Laura Eisenhower, dismissed the entire Mars Mission affair as a new age fantasy — a completely fictional product of disturbed minds. As it turned out, at least some of the answers to the real story behind the tale were six feet away from my desk, sitting in the ‘unusable’ file.
My own personal contact with Mr. Dell, and his associates, had begun several years earlier, shortly after launching STARstream Research, a virtual Internet based organization monitoring various open-source developments in the mainstream and alternative science community.
In 2005, a person who later was contracted by Mr. Dell, attempted on several occasions to elicit information concerning our key sources and contacts; specifically persons of interest known to have worked for, or to be working for, the CIA. To the best of our knowledge, this was merely a ruse used to elicit information and obtain background information. This was reported to our intelligence contacts, including Ronald S. Pandolfi, then with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, working out of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
The man, who identified himself as Ron Stahl, explained that he was developing a premise for a science fiction screenplay. Some of the elements within Mr. Stahl’s premise were later echoed in Laura Eisenhower’s and Ki Lia’s account of the ‘secret’ Mars Mission.
Stahl had expressed considerable interest in Dr. Pandolfi’s particulars, as well as his association with Dan Smith, the son of former Eisenhower Administration Tax Advisor Dan Throop Smith. At the time, Smith had been blogging about his friend Pandolfi’s intelligence chatter, in the context of rumors of an extraterrestrial tale alleged to have been sourced from senior government officials. Smith had even managed to scoop an exclusive 2007 expose’ by Sidney Blumenthal when he reported an internal conflict at CIA over intelligence reports that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, prior to the US led invasion. Smith revealed the CIA dispute two years before the Blumenthal story was published in Salon.
Mr. Stahl’s fictional tale involves a kidnapping by a rogue intelligence operation where the main character is “drawn into the world” of a “renegade black op paramilitary” group. Stahl also suggested this group might need to steal “ET’s time travel technology” in order to “return to [their] normal lives” — and his characters would face “mind-bending psy-op stuff that makes the heroes wonder for their sanity.”
A review of Mr. Stahl’s premise, which he emailed to STARstream Research on November 29, 2005, includes the following plot points later found in ‘Ki Lia’s’ and Laura Eisenhower’s testimony:
Identification of the year 2012, since the events of interest take place about “twenty years” after the “first Gulf War.” According to an Advanced Aerospace Research Center (AARC) presentation we received from Dell in 2007, the AARC would seek to foster competition to establish “the first inhabited outpost on Mars by 2012.”
According to the account by Ivy Linn, “Underlying this space project was a massive amount of terror, survival and manipulation, and the urgent need to escape deliberately planned (through wars and a global depopulation agenda) or foreseen cataclysms (through Looking Glass) in 2012.”
“Looking Glass” is alleged to be a kind of time machine remote viewing device, similar to the ET time travel technology from Mr. Stahl’s story.
Like Laura Eisenhower’s claims, Stahl’s story is built around CIA and “various other black ops.”
Mr. Stahl’s plot identifies the NASA “white world” deep planetary missions but his plot is focused on a top secret black budget covert planetary space force.
Mr. Stahl identifies the propulsion system used by his fictional spacecraft as the nuclear/electric propulsion systems which are also found in Mr. Dell’s Mars mission concept papers.
It remains unknown if any of Mr. Stahl’s fictional ideas were ever shared with Mr. Dell or his associates; however Dell claims to have briefly contracted Mr. Stahl’s services.
On April 4, 2006 — days after investigative reporter George Knapp grilled Franklin Meade’s associate Dr. Eric Davis on Coast to Coast AM, following a report we published connecting the DIA TIGER Committee to UFO-inspired technologies — STARstream Research was contacted by Mr. Dell concerning an alleged incident involving a bizarre deer mutilation discovery not far from Charlottesville. According to the report, contact with the mutilated bodies induced odd physical side effects. The details concerning the deer mutilation were passed to a forensic expert contracted to the US government, who, to paraphrase, accepted the description as “valid” and “compelling.”
In her personal interpretation of events, Laura Eisenhower also referenced the mutilation incident, noting, “As I got to know him more he started to reveal things to me about this group he goes to who are quite psychic and deal with alien abduction related things. He himself had witnessed something truly bizarre with an animal skinned, that had all the blood sucked out and that the radiation or energy around this really affected his health for a long time.”
STARstream Research had previously reported unconfirmed rumors of the use of psychic sources and possibly persons who have reported alien abduction experiences, allegedly related to obtaining “UFO” technology. The implication coming from the reported rumors is that the Intelligence Community is interested in the psychology of altered states of consciousness, and may now have added the use of fMRI and other means of monitoring the human brain as part of their research. If this is true, it would be consistent with past intelligence agency activities and reports and documentation we have received from a Chinese source in Beijing, who had also been approached by a former US intelligence official on a related topic.
(In the interest of disclosure, I must add that STARstream Research was passively involved in arranging for the above mentioned relationship.)
Our Chinese source provided documentation that the research in question, involving quantum perception and registration of brain to brain communication using fMRI, would be a joint cooperative venture, funded by the US government, and would involve, to quote, “The Puthoff Institute” in Austin, Texas — the very same Institute for Advanced Studies in Austin identified by Dell for his introduction to Dr. Miley.
In an email between sources to STARstream Research, a colleague of Dr. Puthoff, a former government intelligence official, was asked point blank, “Do you believe some contact has been made between humans and non-human intelligence?”
The official replied, on the condition of absolute anonymity, “Yes, I most assuredly do…my data is dense; it is not from first hand experience; it is from direct testimony of the most senior persons I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with, respecting, and knowing.”
Another source, who provided voluminous, detailed, and often corroborated information, claimed, “The ‘phenomenon’ gave me Hal’s name, before I had ever heard of him…I went looking, and there he was!”
According to another associate of Puthoff — Dr. Eric Davis, the author of Franklin Meade’s ‘teleportation physics’ paper for the USAF — one of aerospace entrepreneur Bob Bigelow’s physicists was held captive by an ‘alien’ presence during an investigation of paranormal events at Bigelow’s Skinwalker Ranch, in Utah.
According to Davis, the bewildered and undoubtedly very frightened victim was held motionless while being subjected to ‘telepathic’ transmissions warning the Bigelow team to leave the area. Accounts differ concerning the nature of the event, including one tale of an extraterrestrial battle between Bigelow’s men and an alien menace, as well as suspicions the phenomenon may have been engineered by humans working outside the legal framework.
In addition to the various versions of the Mars Mission story, we had numerous phone conversations and email exchanges with Mr. Dell, who graciously provided us with materials about his Mars vision plan. At the time, we were collaborating with Caryn Anscomb from London, who was traveling the US, in pursuit of alleged ties between former intelligence officials and tales of alien contact by the government. At her own behest, Anscomb acted as an independent investigative source to STARstream Research, forwarding a considerable amount of behind-the-scenes material as she met with persons of interest, including Dan Smith and Ron Pandolfi. According to Pandolfi, during a dinner meeting with Smith and Anscomb, Anscomb crossed the line, when she asked about “his real work,” although Pandolfi denied allegations of possible involvement by Britain’s MI6 Secret Intelligence Services.
In June of 2006, Smith and Anscomb arranged to meet with Dell, and all three sources continued to forward information to us, providing an interesting ‘mosaic’ that gathered dust in the files until the 2010 Ivy Linn story broke on the Internet. Meanwhile, Dell introduced Laura to futurist John L. Petersen of The Arlington Institute, a hub for various paranormal and military related persons of interest.
Eventually Laura Eisenhower would report, “Regarding the group he mentioned, he believed that he had joined a sort of think tank, an investigative group, which was also working on creating a mission to Mars. He kept telling me of the cataclysms that were coming and that this was something we were special to be involved in.”
Petersen’s institute would later produce the WHETHEReport: an examination of future trends predicted from a database of dream-visions of impending disasters. Regardless of how one interprets the WHETHEReport database, there is no shortage of cataclysmic visions populating the psychic landscape.
In addition to visions of doom, often associated with the year 2012, Laura Eisenhower reported that Mr. Dell was obsessed with security. She wrote, “One time he pulled all the equipment in my house apart. Taking cell-phone batteries out, shutting down all electronics – so he could candidly tell me what he knew and revealed much about me and my boys, which explained why I was even a person of interest. He said that we were being bugged, even with web cams out in the streets, and tried to insist that he was protecting me.”
In our communications, Dell asserted that our computers had been compromised, possibly by foreign cyber-spies in Asia. We began to suspect the same, when “Unsuspecting Space Aliens” (USA) appeared in a printout from my wife’s computer, superimposed over a location near to our home. In a move reminiscent of indicted NSA whistleblower Thomas Drake, Dell eventually switched to Hushmail, an encrypted email service, for more sensitive issues. At the time, we declined to follow “down the rabbit hole” into Wonderland, but Ms. Anscomb continued her investigation, and returned to the US in early 2007, to meet with Dell at Puthoff’s institute in Austin.
According to Laura Eisenhower, upon his return, Dell informed her that he had traveled back from Austin with someone from MI6, most likely based upon the same unsubstantiated rumors we had heard concerning our key source. Clearly there was no shortage of disinformation virally transmitted throughout the network of the ‘usual suspects’ — following Ms. Anscomb’s final written contribution to her “Trickster Tales” series, I closed the file until the Eisenhower story emerged.
In spite of various setbacks (not the least of which are the odd allegations surrounding the Mars Mission Affair, as it has come to be called here at STARstream Research), Dell appears to have made considerable progress pursuing the dream of interplanetary space travel.
In the interview by Sander Olson, Dell optimistically predicted that fusion rockets are inevitable. “This technology will change everything,” Dell told Sanders, “By 2020, we could be actively implementing commercial settlement and/or tourist expeditions to Mars…We are confident that within a decade we will have developed all of the infrastructure and commercial breakthroughs necessary to enable the rapid manned occupation of the Moon and Mars.”
Dell is currently listed as the Director of the Appalachia America Energy Research Center.
“The mission of Appalachia America Energy Research Center (AAERC) is to maximize existing energy resources and support the commercialization of new energy technologies for the benefit of creating jobs in the Southwest Virginia region, primarily through formation and stewardship of new start-up companies tied to the commercialization of well-vetted breakthrough energy technologies.”
In his 2011 State of the Union Address, President Obama declared, “This is our generation’s Sputnik moment. Two years ago, I said that we needed to reach a level of research and development we haven’t seen since the height of the Space Race. And in a few weeks, I will be sending a budget to Congress that helps us meet that goal. We’ll invest in biomedical research, information technology, and especially clean energy technology — an investment that will strengthen our security, protect our planet, and create countless new jobs for our people.”
Ad astra, Mr. President!
Notes:
Laura Bradshaw Mahon Eisenhower provided STARpod.org with a copy of her North Carolina Driver’s License.
Mr. Dell provided us with a 2007 presentation for the 2012 Mars Mission Challenge proposal.
Ms. Anscomb forwarded to us numerous communications between various parties in 2006 and early 2007, during her investigation and travels.
Laura Eisenhower and Richard Dell Jr. both independently confirmed to us that Ki’ Lia was, in fact, Ivy Linn.
