Later Notice: Matthew Ward has said on March 12, 2011 that “the earthquake off the coast of Japan, strategically positioned to cause the tsunami, was not Mother Nature’s doing.” (Matthew’s Message, March 12, 2011.)
1:14 A.M., PST. An aftershock of 6.4 on the Richter has hit Japan, following the earlier earthquake of 8.9. The significance of this is that buildings that have been damaged are at risk of collapsing.
9:30 P.M. PST. An earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale has hit Japan, followed by a tsunami with 20-foot waves. More extensive footage exists on CNN but has not yet made it to Youtube.
Our hearts go out to the Japanese people who are battling widespread flooding.
The quake originated 130 km east of Japan. A second 6.8 earthquake has just happened directly underneath Tokyo. A smaller earthquake underneath an urban area will have more potential for damage than a large quake located far away.
Tokyo has 30 million inhabitants. Tokyo’s infrastructure is partially down. Underground railways are not operating. Taxis are not available. It’s proving difficult for people to reach their homes or to contact their loved ones.
Fires have broken out. The tsunami is sweeping cars and everything small before it. Houses seem to have remained standing.
People are described as responding calmly. Their earthquake preparations are said to be extensive.
Hawaii is under a tsunami warning. The wave will be arriving around 3:00 a.m. It’s also expected to hit Russia, Taiwan, Guam, Marshall Islands, Indonesia, Papua/New Guinea, and Australia.
The earthquake is causing many fires in Japan. Numerous aftershocks have occurred. Given that a 6.6 earthquake happened two days ago, and an 8.9 happened today, the concern is that this may also be the precursor of something worse.
Everyone is being warned to get away from lower ground. A warning is being given that a tsunami wraps around a land mass so people on the far side are not necessarily safe from harm.
I’d be surprised if anything this large could be attributable to HAARP.
