Let me remind us please about comments, if you’ll permit me.
I have to ask your cooperation here. I’m holding us to higher standards than prevail on other sites. On other sites we call other people frauds and say they are using and abusing people, lying, etc.
This is not that kind of site. I’m not saying you have to agree with me or toe a party line. You don’t. But I do ask you to maintain a certain tone or level of discussion. Discretion is appreciated.
This site is about Ascension. It’s not rough and tumble. And it’s not a place to lambaste anyone, really. It’s a place to practice communication in manners that are appropriate to where we’re headed. It’s a place to achieve mature and level-headed discussion. (1)
In his last message, SaLuSa said:
“With everything that is happening do not forget that the most important matter concerns the changes within you. With understanding and the desire to ascend, you must as far as possible live your life as one who has already reached a higher level of consciousness.” (2)
I agree.
In the past, our culture agreed to “let it all hang out” and “say it like it is,” etc. Well, that was fine and we learned a lot from it. But it isn’t the way of the future.
Some readers may be familiar with the “garbage and the goddess” period of Da Free John’s teaching where he took his followers into an exploration of every kind of unbridled passion and impulse under the sun and all it led to was the almost total annihilation of his group, many damaged people and broken relationships, and a huge loss of listening for his teachings. I don’t want to go there.
I know from my own past that the exploration of “free love” during the early Seventies tore my first marriage apart. Peyton Place, the Harrad Experiment – we looked in those nooks and crannies and they didn’t work, as far as I’m concerned. As Sri Krishna said, we lost discrimination and with it life’s only purpose. Spiritual evolution actually does call for discernment. Knowing God actually does require us to observe some decorum.
And meeting people from different regions of space will also require us to exercise some circumspection and restraint upon ourselves. So I don’t care what your personal opinions are but I do care about how you phrase them. Please don’t drag this site down with name-calling, unsupported accusations, etc., but instead, if you will, help make it an engine of Ascension and a community of lightworkers in the true sense of the word.
Thank you,
Steve

(3) Thinking about sense-objects
Will attach you to sense-objects;
Grow attached, and you become addicted;
Thwart your addiction, it turns to anger;
Be angry, and you confuse the mind;
Confuse your mind, you forget the lesson of experience;
Forget experience, you lose discrimination;
Lose discrimination, and you miss life’s only purpose.
