Hollywood’s latest attempt to scare the wits out of us is due out March 11, 3011. Thanks to Genela for bringing it to my attention.
Sony Corp. plans to release Battle: Los Angeles 2011, in which alien spacecraft shoot up the place.
They have a webpage where you can go and see all the cities that will be attacked (http://www.iill.net/tag/arrested.). Coming to a locale near you seems to be the message.

The film appears to take off where Independence Day left off.
I would imagine that the film will be overtaken by events.
