The incredible value of the Internet lies in making previously-inaccessible, liberating information available. Here are two developments that gladdened my heart.
First is the creation of Holybooks.com, which makes sacred books freely available. Thanks to Len for this one.

One of the books I’ll probably download is this one. Anapana is one technique of Vipassana meditation and a particularly good and relevant one as we pass through this time of clearing unfinished business. Anapana helps a person remain present and grounded. I hope the author turns out to be a good one. The topic can also be made miserably boring.
Anapanasati – Mindfulness of Breathing

For the first time in the English here is a comprehensive manual of the Buddhist meditation known as ânàpànasati – the development of mindfulness of breathing. Although this manual is primarily intended for the benefit of monks, it will greatly assist laymen, too, who wish to undertake a course of meditation but who do not have the guidance of a teacher.
Originally published in Thai, this manual is one of the major works of the Ven. Buddhadàsa Bhikkhu and delivered in 1959 in the form of a series of lectures to monks of Suanmokkha Monastery, Chaiya, Thailand. Ven. Buddhadàsa Bhikkhu, a major voice in the Buddhist world, is an accepted master of Buddhist meditation. In constructive positive language, the manual guides the meditator through the 16 steps of ânàpànasati. Download the ebook here (550 pages PDF): Anapanasati Mindfulness of Breathing
The second is one of the few dictionary of quotations that I’m aware of – this one on Near-Death Experiences. Of course I’d be interested in it because I make them myself. This compendium of useful information on people’s NDEs, which Angel passed along, can be found at the homepage of the Near Death Experience Research Foundation, https://www.nderf.org/, run by Dr. Jeff and Jody Long.
Why read about near-death experiences? Well, you read the experience of Mellen-Thomas Benedict (https://goldenageofgaia.com/2010/10/08/mellen-thomas-benedict-a-journey-through-the-light-and-back/). You can see what amazing things he learned and experienced.
Well, as long we’re on the topic, here’s another incredible service that isn’t new, but is most valuable.

Some of the books on this site, like the St. Germaine’s La Très Sainte Trinosophie, are priceless. In my opinion, books like these make available to us knowledge and techniques that raise our vibrations and take us out of reach of the dark.
