Transforming Conflict Through the Four Sacred Skills of Peacemaking
A Free Audio Seminar with renowned peacemaker
Wednesday, Sept. 29th, 5 pm Pacific
Imagine how you could transform your life and the world around you if you had the skills of a veteran peacemaker? Well it’s not only possible, it’s essential for those of us who want to BE the change.
That’s why I’m delighted to invite you to our groundbreaking new free event this week called “Transforming Conflict Through the Four Sacred Skills of Peacemaking,” with James O’Dea, one of the most gifted peacebuilders today.
Join us for this journey into peacemaking here.
Peacemaking is not just the domain of the kind of heroes we showcased in PeaceWeek. It’s one of the most practical skills for transforming the quality of our lives, our families, and our society. It’s the foundation for turning conflict into friendship, stress into creativity, and discord into collaboration.
There are few skills that can more dramatically improve the quality of your personal life and relationships. And our world.
During Wednesday’s event, James O’Dea will share the four sacred skills he’s learned over the last three decades that you can apply in situations from squabbling children to conflict with your spouse to violence in the neighborhood or even helping a country to heal.
You’ll learn how to:
- Commune with the energy of the Universe: learn how to engage all forms of energy whether they appear friendly, hostile or seductive, and manifest a truly evolutionary impulse for peace.
- Lead from the center and ground of being: learn how to hold space for other truths while fully incarnating your own soul power, emotional and intellectual insight and wisdom as a peacemaker.
- Speak from essence and to essence: skillfully discern shadow from substance so that you always illuminate higher ground where peace can flourish.
- Connect the inner and the outer: develop a commitment and ever-evolving skill set in integral practice so you expand your being and act more strategically as an effective peacemaker.
- Join this call to learn effective strategies and sacred skills for mastering the navigation of conflicts and unhealed wounds in your family and public lives.

James O’Dea has been on the frontlines of work with Amnesty International. He’s forged dialogues between Israelis and Palestinians, Indigenous leaders and scientists, and built bridges across racial, ethnic, and class divides. For years he’s honed a remarkable array of peacemaking skills. Now is the time for him to offer this best of what he has learned to train us all in the art and science of peacemaking from the personal level to organizational to global.
Barbara Marx Hubbard says, “James O’Dea penetrates to the soul level where the Source of Love lives. Every moment I spend with him brings peace to my soul.”
You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to learn an essential set of skills for transforming your life and our world from a true master. And even if you can’t attend live, you’ll get free access to the recording if you register.
If you’re tired of estranged relatives, violent neighborhoods, or squabbling children, this call will teach you four skills for how to transmute the energies of discord and conflict as well as open your heart more deeply in the process.
I’ll see you on Wednesday!
PS. If you’re called to be part of The Shift, I strongly encourage you to register for our special event (and invite friends!) to learn these important foundational skills of peacemaking.
